There seems to be alot of people having problems with this event. I couldnt figure it out at first. I tried like 15 times. Finally I got it.
Car Used: Audi R8 Race Car (Playstation Team Oreca) '05
Tires used: Sport Soft Front and Back. (You don't have to Make pit stops
that way)
Driver Dude: S. Park....Semi Cool....Lv. 32
Setup Used: Set trans to default...Set Top Speed to 162 mph...Final Gear
set to 2.308... Leave the rest of the gears default.
LSD set to 9/13/9
Ride hieght: +5/-5
Spring Rate: 14.8/16
Extention: 7/7
Compression: 6/5
Anti Roll Bars: 6/5
Camber: 2.5/1.2
Toe: -0.08/+0.25
Brakes: 8/6
TCS: 1
ABS: 2
Aero: 55/80
My Power Limiter had to be set to 93.2% so that I met the 700PP requirement. That gave me 765HP and 705ft/lbs of torque.
When it starts out I just tried to make sure I kept up with the pack. They start out on Racing tires so i couldnt corner as well. When it starts raining they pit for Intermediate tires. That's when you pass them all and go fast as possible. Pace down for the chicanes on the back stretch and at the 90° corners. Eventually the rain will take its toll on your grip with the sports tires and you'll slow down a little. I ended up back in 5th at this point. Ride it out and try to stay with the pack as much as possible. They'll all pit to change back to their racing tires at the end of lap 8. When they do try to go as fast as you can without running out your strength and mental strength meters. They'll start to catch up. Don't panic. Stay focused and don't look at the map to see where they are. Just keep heading towards the finish.
I finished 11.6 Seconds ahead of the pack.
