Lack of Xbox One gameplay footage pre-release = feeling of deja vu

XXI
You just said you no longer have a PS4 last month, GT Sport isn't worth the hype and Project Cars is terrible.
What do you run on PC?
Sorry, I'm very confused.

I picked up a ridiculously cheap (too cheap to pass up) preowned PS4 (PS4 number 5)last week.
I hope GT Sport will be worth the wait/hype.

Until today I'd not played the current version of PC1 (have spent about 2hrs on V10.0.0.198) as per Ian's recommendation I'm giving it another shot and I must say it is miles better that it was when I last played it (from launch until a few weeks after launch).

Very much changed my opinion of PC on Xbox. And very much looking forward to PC2

Thank you

Fair play for coming back and saying that 👍

I'm even going to add that I'm sure pCARS 2 will not be perfect on launch, especially on consoles since WMD is PC based. So give it a month or two, maybe even wait to buy it until it had a few patches if you are so quick to dismiss the game. Games have become massive development efforts these days and it's difficult to iron out all the bugs, especially if they have never been encountered even.

That's very big of you Chris. Glad I could help a bit.

The same guy has posted a third video, featuring more demanding conditions

Around the 8 minute mark when it is raining with a couple of cars in front, he does mention some stuttering (plus it is pretty clear to see the frames drop) and you also notice the details in the rear video mirror going haywire. Other than that, not too shabby - held up well in the fog.

Looked like it held up pretty well to me :)
