And here are the new tracks

Some damn vids would be nice đź‘Ť

The track is more accurate according to the caption below the pic and the lighting looks a bit different. We are gonna need more pics to make a real judgement.

Finally, Sears Point, accurately modeled for something else than a NASCAR game. đź‘Ť

At last! I absolutely hated Laguna Seca in that old sunset lighting!

It is quite drab isn't it? Not much to look at ... but those of us who have been there know how accurate that is! The place is just ... empty. Very few trees or sourounding scenery. Just kind of a track, on a hillside, with nothing around.

A blue sky will help, but it would take innacurate modifications to improve the looks of the campus.

It'd be great for as a bonus you could drive karts on the kart track. It's one of my favorite tracks to drive at!

I'm reallllly glad that they finnaly went with a midday setting. That twilight was quite annoying since i've never seen cars racing into that time of day there. AND Infenion, and its not in a nascar game :)

Not only Laguna Seca, but various other tracks got a big make over from what I gathered from other pictures. And they look great as well.

To be honest I wasn't expecting such a big improvement in that department.

ohhh...why is the GT-One in Gran turismo always soooOO slow and in the background???...look at the pics R390(a car with fewer hp--550--and more weight--1087kg--)always in front with its older brother R89C battling with 787B and behind that the newer Sauber-mercedes and the very new V12LMR and Courage...

for me it´s the best racing scenes i ever saw(only with the exception that there´s the unlogical thing with the "slow GT-One"!!!)

...well it looks very amazing it´s like real action on our consoles and that´s what makes us GT-fanatics so proud of this game!!!

It's great to see Laguna finally getting updated, I was so sick of the old inaccurate PS1 version. I guess now we will finally have a corkscrew that is'nt built like a "stunt car racer" track!

It's going to be cool to see new 'more realistic' verisons of the fictional tracks too, especially the old favourites. :)

I'm glad to see that it looks less 'green' - laguna (and sears point) are quite barron. Tsukuba in prologue is also too green, if you compare it to any pix or vids that you see of it.

I thinks its the setup...besides the GT-one is indeed faster but the other are faster in the corners belive me since the Sauber and R89C both were Group C cars with outstanding chassis..but the 787b is defenetly faster then it should be,it didnt win Le Mans on speed purley on luck and fuel comsuption.
Also setup again,R390 has according to the game better tourqe making it better on curvy track like Laguna.

But still I agree with you!! it has always felt like PD neglected the oh so mighty One ever since GT3:( đź‘Ž

hi, its nitro here. god i havent benn here in a while cos my damn computer kept logging me out when i tried to use some of the site features like posting stuff, but now it seems to have sorted itself out. anyway, on the subject of laguna seca, i think it look fantastic. PD have really captured the track look extremely well now they have remodelled it.

is it me or do those trees suck, I know they are not vital but they do suck.

Ah, finally, they've done Laguna RIGHT! Watch a Laguna video, the track is longer in real life than it was in GT3, PD seems to have compressed the size somewhat. This was confirmed when I talked to the DA crew just after they'd come back from Laguna, and they agreed that it's longer IRL than in GT3.

Infineon looks awesome, too. I've always liked the course setup.

I wonder if we'll see the California Speedway road course, so we can recreate this winter's JGTC event.

Ah, Takumi, how's the hachi-roku ;)

The California Speedway is a good suggestion, and as KY likes the JGTC, he might recreate the whole season.

Laguna does look a lot better, but the road is a bit...jaggy, not very curvy. Don't know if it's like that in real life?
