everyone is arguing the ball wont be passed around that much, but think about if kobe or payton misses shaq and malone are there to rebound,
i think this will be the greatest team in NBA history, i hope payton and malone both play at L.A. for 3 years.

I predict that the Spurs will wreck them in the playoffs. Shaq is on the decline, Kobe is in legal trouble, Malone is old. Payton is still good.

Payton was traded to the Bucks last year from the team that made him a superstar. Malone, he deserves a ring. 20 years in Utah and they never built a good enough team around he and Stockton to win a championship.

I keep thinking they are going to turn into this years Oakland Raiders. Lots of cagey veterans, but without some young talent to offset that (and I don't think Kobe alone is enough), L.A. maybe in for a rougher season that expected. They'll still make the playoffs,...but who doesn't.

I really hope the lakers will SUCK this year, i hope because of Kobe's whole asult trial thing it will get him off his game, and possibly shaq getting injured, They dont Deserve to win the title again, how fun is it to watch the rich team in a league by the team and pretty much buy the title!! I hope in the end the nuggets or the cavs win, then it would be exciting not PREDICTABLE, NBA needs a salary cap is the bottom line! Just look at how goo the NFL is with it!

What the hell is lolx?

The Celts got rid of the player who was holding them back--Walker. They freed up some cap room and the got a decent center which is something they have been lacking for about 15 years. They're ready to kick ass.
