While the Miura defined Lamborghini, and re-defined top performance cars, for Italian cars, I'm a Coutach man all the way. Still, only two seem "right" to me:

Well I always thought that the Diablo was it. I mean, they were never gonna get any better than that. I've wanted one ever since I saw a spy shot of one testing at Nardo back in, ooh, about 1988. which is a long time ago.
But then, I was driving along one day, minding my own business, doing about 90 in a Fiat Stilo, when a Murcielago pops out of a slip road and comes in front of me, matched with my speed. So I'm right behind it, and this thing looks like a spaceship, I kid you not. I think it's the most unusual-looking car I've ever seen, that is to say "unusual" in a good way, as opposed to "unusual" in a Fiat-butt-ugly-OMG!!!!!-Multipla way.
So I wound down the window, and at 90, this thing's ticking over, and I can see the "Passat" badge on the boot of the sedan in front, and I'm in love. Big time.
