And since it is a race that pins two cars against each other, cant we run the cars entirely stock?

Stock tyres, parts and settings. And lets do several races, one on tarmac, one on asphalt and one in snow, as these weichles are intended to be allrounders.

Evo '96 got 426PP (comes stock with Sports Hard)
Evo '99 got 449PP (comes stock with Sports Hard)
Evo '00 got 457PP (comes stock with Sports Hard)(not premium/GSR T.M.)
Evo '05 got 415PP (has 435PP with Sports Hard tyres, comes with Comfort Soft stock)
Evo '07 got 446PP (comes stock with Sports Hard)

Scooby '98 got 446PP (comes stock with Sports Hard)(not premium/22B)
Scooby '05 got 443PP (comes stock with Sports Hard)
Scooby '07 got 445PP (comes stock with Sports Hard)
Scooby '10 got 448PP (comes stock with Sports Hard)

With equal tyres the cars have fairly simular performance.
Could be cool to run all the cars in the race.

Hey squad... I'm new here, but am pretty interested in getting in on this race (EVO side obviously).

Wondering when you were planning on holding it?

I also think that the race should be held stock vs. stock. If you were to allow tuning though, I think it should be limited specifically, or by PP#.

Ok we will do a random course maker track, a dirt track(not sure if it's course maker or Eiger or Toscana) and a snow one(see dirt)
 
Were doing 07 because it's the only premium model year with the two of them and the 2005 Evo isn't as good for some reason. Cars will be stock. Track generator will be used. What car will you use metyltest?
 
I feel like that kid in school who instigates fights. When I said "duke it out" I thought 4 or 5 guys would just drive around a couple of tracks that night, end of story. Didn't expect all this, lol. The whole school yard is getting full with a scheduled fight and all. LOL
 
3pm is a bad one for me with playing football on saturdays (but im only a filler at moment anyway :)) 6pm is good for me as long as nothing bad happens at footy lol

wouldnt it be better to have as many different stock cars as possible? give us a real idea of who beats who through the ages.
 
Sign me up for the Evo side. I hope a course list and definite rules (eg stock vs tuned) will be decided upon very soon. I personally vote for a stock race (as so far that seems to be the consensus).

Skill isn't important as long as your with Subaru.:lol:
