Land mines (when, where, how)

Probably just physics calculation that produces crazy value = instant explosion :P Like in GTA V when a car hits a bump or scrape another object, sometimes the car crashed + launched into the air sky high, rare but still happens ( experienced it several times )

Would lower spec system ( power ) increases the possibility of it happening ? Maybe, but when it can occur randomly and when a car just drive normally, it may just be something within the values used in the car that caused strange physics calculation output.

Or it could just be a BAD PORT. Two of them in fact, to varying degrees.
Pretty sure all our ps4's meet the minimum requirement.

I can barely run gta5 online anymore because my save file and all the junk that loads is so huge. Maybe it's the patches, who knows. But the older my profiles get, the buggier they become.
The bottom line is ps4 and Xbox ports are poorly coded sometimes. Especially the net coding.
I have no doubts my profile would run smoother if I wiped my profile and started fresh.

That's not wholly related to port, but how the save data management is being coded and getting too big to handle may cause funny things as well slower to read and write. The patches may also contributes to the save data/profile issues, every patch will need to update the save file used and changes may be performed, this can cause unwanted effects when not carefully tested. Example : Using 7.0 profile on 5.0 ( roll back - delete then update again ) may cause side effect, or how the game managed memory usage may cause corrupted or mismatched data when saving during update process. Setup values or data parameter previously used in older version when updated can also have an effect when the expected value in latest version can't be found or mismatched ( value range, tire type )

I think one of key factors is how SMS managed save data ( driver data, car data /setups, options data like controller, ffb etc ), it's not robust enough to handle the complexity ( like several setups for a car to suit different tracks or different pit strategy for a car )

- Just me guessing here :P

Does the steering ratio bug has been fixed ?

I thought the landmines can also occur with fresh save/profile, or is it not ?

I also read that on Xbone, many issues can be minimized by erasing the profile before updating ( new patch ) -start afresh.

PS4.....patch 00.7

Car : Pagani Huayra

Racing with the AI at Sakitto ......bang bang big landmine in turn 114 .
