Lap time display?

In the time trial mode in the community section I don't see my lap time in the upper left hand corner unless I toggle the hud to telementary mode and get the screen all filled up with data about tyre wear etc.

I can get my lap time on a grid on the left hand side with a load of other info, but I don't want that as it takes up too much screen room and it's too small and fiddly to look at. I just want the lap time pure and simple the way you normally have it.

Any suggestions?
