Latest GT Sport Build Shows Updated HUD and Settings Menu

I think that is possibly one of the most ridiculous things I have seen.
Imagine that you built your own cockpit and combine it with a projector,it won't be so ridiculous anymore.

The other option is that PD create an app themselves, i would however like them to just open a UDP feed for all.

The likes of crew chief are a great example of what can be done with it.
Maybe even a collaboration with Tag Heur, the downside of them keeping it in house as it were would probably be the cost if it to us the consumers.

Maybe work for open wheel only, which is a little chance to see that type of car in GTS. Could be such thing like Caterham or Atom, but we will see.
Also, without the cockpit/pod/rig, it seems like to me the game is having some kind of glitch though.

Need to have fully customizable HUD, able to remove individual gauges and be able to place where desired. And option to run no HUD at all. For example say I just want run my tach, have the option to place where ever I want on the screen that would be a nice feature. Did anyone notice the use LBS for weight of vehicle joy!:D no more converting kilograms to pounds.

Forza-esque rating on Top Speed, Acceleration, Braking, Cornering, Stability

Also, did I mention those LOVELY trees?

The more news that comes out on this game gets me more hyped up, and the more I look forward to getting my hands on this new jewel!

Forza-esque? Lol. Arcade. Unrealistic physics model, fine if you like that sort of thing. Games that do this cater for primarily the pad controller market. Real cars use wheels, just saying...

Those LOVELY trees are very clearly destroying the framerates, the game was so choppy it was almost unplayable. I think you will see these lovely trees dumbed down.

Jewel? Cubic zirconia.....

This site like many of the games it discusses caters for all spots on the racing game spectrum. Rfactor forums are that way, not sure this 'lowly' place is the one for you.

The speedometer & rev countr without needles doesn't
do it for me.
Especially not sat where they are, as a representation of a real speedo and tach.

It also seems terribly redundant to have both analog and digital representations of both. Just makes things look way busier than necessary. Especially with the digital version getting stacked there up into the middle of the screen.

This looks incredible for a vanilla version, respect to PD for the eye candy.
Good to know us paupers without Pro PS4's are being catered for!

With those gaming setups above, you wonder if in the end racing actual cars in an actual track will end up being cheaper.

PD: The game's looking fantastic so far, sadly we will lose so many cars and tracks from GT6...

I'm thinking about the tire model most, and hoping for some solid feedback from beta participants.

I've been trying to find any news on being able to adjust it.

Making up numbers to assign to vague variables changes nothing about the physics system. I could make up Forza-esque numbers for real racing cars, and it doesn't make reality any less real.

Yes, well Mr. McDuck, I'm afraid that we don't all have swimming pools full of money.

U mad?

I'd like the option of a GT3 style combined rev counter + digital speed/gear readout in the right hand corner rather than having the explosion-in-a-numbers-factory HUD they've gone for spread all across the bottom of the screen (which, it should be said, uses a really unappealing and cheesy looking angular font).
