Burammm
I've been hosting a lot of remote games yesterday, but my new friends seem to not be returning the favor. Maybe PD needs to make hosting a bit more interesting, otherwise this feature is going to die soon....:nervous:

You need different friends. ;) Mine have been running all night, earning me a nice million while sleeping. Returning the favor as soon as one of my Bobs is available (that's my problem at the mo, too many people using 'em )

I looked at my log earlier, and it was full of my drivers getting owned by my friends. So im going to agree with NLxAROSA...you need new friends.

Having trouble grabbing one of my Bobs to host races - they keep being swiped up by others before I can get a race going... fully intend to host as much as I can though :)

Fair is fair...

yeah many thanks to people for using my bobs, but same problem, trying to return favour but my bobs are all busy having their asses handed to them, a very nice problem to have to be honest. while im away i can just refresh my iphone and wait for one to become available otherwise I can do some aspec for a bit. Honestly this is a great feature to get people into bspec. a level 0 racer can be levelled to 15/20 overnight make a cool 500k. actually managed to get my other half into the game, because her account is now levelled up without having to do aspec or licences (no comments about female drivers here) but she can play the carting and special events and also now have more level 0 bobs for me to throw into my hosted races.

This is the birth of this feature. ofc PD will flesh it out as time goes on, but for now its a fantastic addition and can only get better.

I think that you also need to cultivate a 'worldwide' group of friends to account for time differences. For example, I requested you as a friend yesterday, but you confirmed after I went to bed. I am in mid-Canada and you are Netherlands (I believe, from you flag). So I have just woken up to see a lot of my Bobs raced by the European guys. I actually have 3 of your guys queued up, waiting for one of my guys to be free. I think that if you work at getting people from across the world, you'll see more action for your Bobs at certain times.

Also - for me, I check my log. Those that race with my guys, I return the favour.

It will definitely be a novelty for many because even managing races by phone takes time and focus. So I bet a lot will drop off over the next week and those left will have to cultivate their 'friends'. Running the Bobs of those that are reciprocating.

Cheers!
(BTW - three of your Bobs are in Daytona right now, running 2nd/6th/7th!)

You're welcome buddy!

I did have that worry, that people wouldn't return the favour, but last night I had two class 0 drivers magically become class 9 this morning, oh, and I made a well over $100 000 too.

I have many friends doing bspec remote races with me. What I do when I gather my money from my drivers is check their race results and see who hosted most of the races. Then I just return the favor and make sure I get their drivers in some races first.

The only people who are helping me with mine are the ones I can't help because they have no drivers free, I'll keep trying though.

While I can imagine leeching will occur, some of it will be inflicted out of our 'new friends' control. The service has been a bit up/down today, it was fine earlier but now I just seem to be getting 'Under maintenance' messages, via the web interface.

I've been hosting fine upto 3pm... now I can't return the favour of my bobs new runners.

maybe once people have settled on their quota of friends the service will start to improve.

While I'm here though, add 'missionfailed' :)

I have you in a race right now...your driver sucks though. J/K hes in 8th right behind my guy. I put my jabtay driver on there now...race the heck out of him :)

Several of my PSN friends have shared Bobs which I've been racing, but only one of them has used mine.

I figure they haven't had the chance to remote play yet, or don't get down the list to "W", or just want free cr./exp without helping anyone else out.

Aww, send me an invite (PSN: MH4wheel) and I'll do I few races with your bob. I usually don't start until past midnight though.

Yes Bob prostitution is a big win for GT5. One issue i find is if your not high in B-Spec your not going to get a lot of Bob's in use as it is obvious and easier to go for the higher B-spec guys as they can get many drivers out of them (5-6). Sharing is caring, the more you share and the more people get comfortable with the remote racing the more racing that will occur.
