I'm running the 71' mach 1 mustang and the 73' skyline. On a closer look they have a similar shape so its like my sky is my stangs little beta brother:sly:

Anyone else bucking tradition and running muscle?

Sorry guys, but you can count me out on any racing or even GT5, because I tried everything today to get the game from unfreezing: Different cars, different tracks, online, offline, cleaning the disk with a rag, that is mean for cleaning glasses (the kind you wear on your head), but it doesn't work. In the menus it's fine, but I can only race for 5 minutes or so. And since I'm too poor to buy another disk, I can't play GT5.
Sorry.

Edit: Scratch that. I just played at leat an hour without freezing it. Thank God!

It could just be your internet connection. As the game is perpetually connected, if your internet is slow, everything else in the game is slow

Yes, I'm actually wondering what car I'm going to run as well for the 80's... Should I go with the linage or go for something completely new!?

I was hoping to see you run a aw11 against some ae86's

Timber - just registered a Nissan Silvia S13 from 1990.

The original Nissan Silvia S13 debuted earlyer. Can i use this car? As i would like to use a premium one.

Thx

Ok. I will allow for that, but no aftermarket spoiler.

Urmm... the NA AW11 cannot reach 450pp................... (without putting on a turbo)
so let me think about it.

Supercharger acts like N?A but obviously more torqe. and sometimes a bit light, but if you have good pedal work, im sure you do, you can manage it. its quite responsive

I know I may get ranted or scolded for asking this, but I'm curious if the 91' Skyline R32 Gts-T Type M is aloud? I'm hoping yes, but I don't know if they actually have a 89' model in GT5 although it was released then. I didn't tune one ever, and would like to take this opportunity, if not, I'm cool with that.👍

There is an '89 version of this Skyline, so no, you are unable to use the '91 model. I had the same problem myself in relation to the FC. In that scenario, you can't use the GT-X models because the GT LIMITED is on the car list and it is made in 1989. The GT-X was made 1 year later.

That is my personal opinion.

Touge Rider is correct, the model which year 89 don't have is this model:
SKYLINE GTS-t Type M (R32) '89 <- Eligible
SKYLINE GTS25 Type S (R32) '91 <- Eligible
SKYLINE GTS-t Type M (R32) '91 <- Non-Eligible

That means, Vasho, you can't use your Premium model to be consistent with the rules and me not having favourtism!! lol. if you need a standard version, let me know I have one.

SILVIA K's (S13) '88 <- Eligible
SILVIA K's Dia Selection (S13) '90 <- Non-Eligible

The use of both Wikipedia and the GT5 car list helped me with that question. I can always create a list of Japanese cars that can be used if there is no 80s version of it.

Cool, you should have mentioned that earlier! Seems like the hard work has already been done before.

OK then. You can always ask me if you need an exemption list for any other season, side season etc. and I'll be able to whip one up for you.

OR

If anyone needs a question on which is allowed or not, i'll be able to send you an answer in about 2 days of asking, give or take 1.

Would you like me to refine the list for you then?

I think the list is quite comprehensive. You can pm me if you want to adjust anything in the list.

Well OK - i do unterstand this. Its no problem. I think i have the standard version of the SILVIA S13 88. If not i will let you know. Thanks for the offer Timber - i appriciate it very much.
I have to test it out first tough to be sure i wanna use it. Heh - gotta start testing a car from the beginning :ouch:
Oh well cannot be helped.

I'm looking forward to a Group B style showdown with Maccer's RS200 (according to the list) when I return to action.

You probably mean Class A as the Ford RS200 is a 4WD or AWD whatever you call it. Btw - i am thinking of using the same car for Class A.
Gotta find a good tune for it tough first.
