was some great racing glad I made it to the finals and very happy I won. Got lucky in the first A class battle with a uncharacteristic mistake from frag. Got out classed by frag in the B class battle, great drive from you mate, my S14 didnt have what it needed. Then got lucky with the flip of the coin to decide class A, but it wasnt exactly an easy win, had to defend that line OSE passed me with last finals ;). overall great day of racing looking forward to season 4 and the christmas special.

Wish I could've been around to see the battle but congratulations to Maccer for winning. I'll be sending my Impreza asap.
 
Being Cam Car felt like it was the R1's last time running before S3 ended. When I look at the 2 drivers in front, it felt very educational lol

I was bored so I just decided to add a reason why the Non-Eligible can go in LotS lol


Confirmed Non-Eligible:
AEM S2000 (Reason is due passing over 500 PP and is a Drift Track Car)
Amuse Carbon R (R34) '04 (Reason is due to passing over and is a Track Street Car)
Opera Performance S2000 '04 (Reason is due to light weight and it's a track car but under 500 PP)
RE Amemiya Amemiya FD3S RX-7 (Reason is due to over 500PP but Street car)
TRIAL CELICA SS-II (ZZT231) '03 (Reason is due to over 500PP and a Track Car)

I must be honest, I was too greedy in 1st battle, I thought I could get a gap leading in 1st lap, because FD needs a good warmup to get fast in corners like those in Serra da Freita, and my r34 has no issues with cold tires, since it is a little oversteer, and I can accelerate real early out of a corner. Althought, when I saw Maccer glued to my tail, and I couldn't shake him, I felt the pressure of an incoming loss, and I got panic exiting a tricky corner. It was my only chace to win this battle, but it didnt work out. Maccer FD is just very composed, even on cold tires!!

B Class, I was a little more confident in my AP2, but track was a bit different from the one I practised in, so made a little mistake, failing break point. Anyway, I recovered and tryed to attack several times, but Maccer never gave in to pressure. Then I started to pursue the best line, trying to spread the gap when leading...

Untie Battle: I was glad you guys voted for Akina, because of the long straights. Anyway, Maccer's FD were fast exiting corners and I just couldn't keep that amasing pace!!!

Well deserved victory!!! Hope you enjoy my AP2 tune in DLC Blue paint ;)

This was not planned in anyway. Unless Maccer wants. I think it's unfair to put the current champion into a battle with very slim chance of winning. Maybe next core season. :)

I guess we could race if you want to, but as timber already said I have no chance to win it so there isn't much point to this battle is there? Everyone here knows you would get the 3-0 win with the R1 and elise combo :lol: But we could arrange a class A battle I guess, but for B class there realy is no need.

I'm not overly bothered if we do or not :lol: I want on focus on getting ready for Season 4

Brown Hornet was MONSTAR-1's WRX from Pre-Season/Core Season 1.
White Godzilla was My R32 GT-R from Core Season 1.

I've been somewhat absent in LoTS lately due to connection toubles. (DAMN YOU CHEAP WIFI!!)
BUT.. i've also been working on a little project for the GT Planet community.
It's called Wangan Masters and it's a Wangan based (SSR5/7)
Highway racing tournament. Similar to LoTs, yet different in a number of ways.

The first snow battle of the Xmas Challenge gave me an easy win thanks to early practice. Timber was having an extremely hard time keeping his SW20 on the straight and narrow whilst my little VX220 just skipped through the snow from corner to corner as I pulled out a commanding lead of over 23 seconds by the finish line. Great start to my winter season in what is shaping up to be a fun challenge

Ohh god, racing in the snow is hard. I'm not used to snow racing, so it's even extra hard.
We started the race through the timer, since there wasn't anyone else in the room. right from the start, SK's Opel got in front. I tried not to lose my calm so I could follow quite close. The problem with being on the back is that you can't see anything because of the snow that comes out of the other cars back. ( I am a bumper view user, which even gets things worse). Because of the lack of visibility, I got damage pretty early on both front wheels, but my FD2 could still run well and I kept a good pace to keep up with the Opel. There was one sector where I was blind and was relying on SK' name tag to do the turns. On one of the straights, I managed to get side by side with the Opel and braked later, getting a lucky pass to be in the lead. From there on, I stayed in the lead, winning be arriving first.
I wish all the luck to SK and I'm looking forward for the rematch.

P.S. This challenge will be a lot of fun.

Confirmed. The FD2 looks strong on snow particularly with it's FF drivetrain. I braked a bit too early for one of the sweepers which allowed you to pass me but snow battles in good cars with brilliant drivers will be fiercely contested.
 
I signed up early yesterday but still have not been put on the rival list or leaderboard. What's going on? :confused:

Ose, need to congrat you here for your NSX Red Devil!! It is incredibly fast, once I started to control my trottle technique it started to make sence, trully fast machine, very neutral feeling, easy to drive after you understand the car. Really amasing!!! :)
