this would only work in real life as GT5 would make it unfair for the street tuned cars.

Haha, I guess there could be some disadvantages..but it can depend on the car setup and how the driver can handle it. Used to do the "Street Tuned VS Race Tuned" back when I was a freshmen in LotS with Reece lol. It was fun.

I'd be pretty hesitant of a 90's season given the failure that was the Running in the 80's season

I think it was down to the selection of cars in the 80's season...
With a 90's season we have Skyline's, Nsx's, RX-7's etc which mean's it might work better, Also it will be the first side season to test out the 2 week season length too 👍

This Side Season is all about cars between 1990 to 1999.
The PP limits will be the same as a Core Season, 500pp & 450pp.​

CAR SELECTION & TUNING REGULATIONS FOR Running in the 90's

Car Selection

One Player can only have one registered car per-class
The car's PP is fixed for the season
Selected car must be a road legal car
No RM / Race / Rally / Concept Cars
You cannot change Cars & PP after you registered IMPORTANT!!​

Tuning & Parts Restrictions
PP Limit: 500PP
Sports Hard Tyres or Comfort Tyres Only
Ballast use - 5% of total car weight (Example) !
Power Limiter use - 95%-100% !
Fully Customizable Transmissions are not allowed !
5-Speed/6-Speed Close Ratio Transmission are allowed
Max ABS = 1 !
