I want the alpine for sure so that I can try to beat Tokyo again.
Also same. Specially now that I found out the gt40, markIV, 330p4 and 917k are viable there and a very easy win. That also sparkled my interest for the cobra daytona, to see if it can also be a viable option

I need your opinion guys. Should I get the Porsche Spyder 550/1500RS or the Jaguar D-Type? Which one "fits" more races and ultimately get more use?
Both are considered race cars so they see very limited use. Porsche feels like a better ride but at it's pp, there is just nowhere to race it. Jaguar can be entered into 700pp races if all upgrades are done. I haven't raced it there yet, so I don't know how well it will do, but I imagine you can run it. For that fact alone, I think the Jag is a better option of the two but I don't really consider either of them to actually be useful. They are both strictly for collectors at this point in time.

Stingray should be replaced tomorrow.

Hoping for something of interest to feature:

  • Castrol TOMs
  • F1 GTR Gr.3
  • McLaren F1 Road Car
  • Alfa 155 Gr.4
  • 917K

All welcome - a few of those are especially pricey though 😬

A PS4 can handle 20 cars detailed down to the screws holding corner lights in, all driving along a fully modeled track together with millions of bytes of data happening per second, then allow a replay where you can pause and free roam the environment and take high res pictures...

LOLOLOL, not sure I can stop laughing.

My PS4 Pro starts dropping frames anytime I go thru a corner with 4 or more cars in frame in front of me. The fan starts winding up to full speed in some of the menus. I highly doubt it could handle 20 cars in frame all at the same time.

Well the Alpine finally came. Took it long enough. Tuned it and went for a run on tokyo. The car has straight speed , its stable (a bit understeery but that might be because of the tunes I used), but gotta say, I was expecting a bit more from it.

Audi S1, '95 F1 GTR, Shelby Daytona and then the 250 GT Berlinetta. I feel like the S1 already appeared during the 2nd rotation so hopefully it's skipped. Been waiting for the F1 GTR, Shelby and 250 GT. My final bits of roulette earnings will go into those three cars.

I still have to beat Tokyo with it, I didn't have time this morning.. I will try again tomorrow morning.

Is the McLaren 95 worth it performance wise? Has it been in stock earlier, or is it first time? If it has been in before, what's view on it driving feeling and performance wise?

Trying to make the same decision myself.

Yes, it has been in stock before and was 10.5M, if I remember.

Not used it myself, but members were saying it is very fast but tail-happy in the corners. They said without BOP its one of the top, maybe even best, Gr.3 cars, but for online it is weak.

Searched around a bit. Found a thread on the spefic car, from previous time when it was it. Gave the same massage as yours.

I believe I will give it a miss for now. Maybe later for collection purpose if one have a lot of extra credits.

You can try it in Daily Race A (if you don't want to play online, just complete the qualifying lap time trial) - Daily Race A does not affect your Driver or Sportsmanship Rating.

You can rent it for free trial as Daily Race A is a Gr.3 event. It will be BOP enabled so, will lose power and have weight added.

I will try it in Daily Race A myself - the F1 GTR just came in stock today. So it will be around for roughly a week. I'll see what else comes in stock over next few days before commiting credits to it on first day of stock.

I probably will buy it because I do like the car, it will take 2.5-3 months roughly to come in stock again and will be at a higher price too. I will buy it in 3-4 days.

If, for performance, you mean human comedy maggiore 1h...not really.
But outside of that race, its actually a very good car

I caved and bought it. Ha Ha - so much for waiting 3-4 days :D

OK, so, when I saw MR and read it was twitchy... I immediately feared characteristics like those of the R8 LMS Evo and generally early GT7 MR unpredictability.

It's not as snappy as the R8 LMS but you do have to consider that you can't just pin and win through the corners like all but a few of the Gr.3 cars.

It has devastating acceleration. Wow. It seems OP for the 800PP events (bearing in mind I usually use stock Gr.3 cars around the 730PP mark).

That 95 Mclaren is trying to kill me, I swear.
It needs hard tyres for sure. As soon as there’s any ‘red’ wear it goes all squirmy. Was spinning it on the kink leading to main straight at Sardegna. Weird. They might’ve updated it since, but it was, maybe still is, terrible.

For tyres, that is. Terrible handling if there’s any red showing. It’s fast though. But over all, not at all worth the money for racing. It’s a great-looking museum piece though.

On Performance. Though so. I am pretty early on my car journey. So I will prioritize other cars.

Bought Mark IV and was thinking that on its place will come another one from "Legendary Three" but F1 GTR came.

Well, it's just like that :) For me personally, horrible to drive, removed from favourites and put away somewhere deep in the garage, not to use again :)
