Johnny did say speculation, however wild. What about if you take everything very literally?

Non-existant presents are a bit late - Old fictional tracks returning
Tides will change - They've mapped the constellation, now they're calculating the ebb and flow of the Earth's tides too!
Voices will be heard - More Vettel and Jay Leno commentary
Shapes will become forms - VGT cars released
Continue to evolve. Progess and evolution - PD and Evolution Studios are teaming up. Or maybe this is linked to the voices being heard. Kaz gets that we don't want anymore GTRs, so we are getting 20 more Mitsibushi Evos instead.


Only one above I actually believe are the VGT cars.
 
Well, I am quite excited by this, if only for the possibility of the BMW Vision GT, but bug fixes are required also...

.. and it needs to not be a one-off, what we need is a sign that they are listening and things will get better, to that end I hope the 'voices being heard in an unimaginable fashion' really does make it clear to the community they are listening, because at the end of the day, just delivering things that are already 'late' is still not quite good enough.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
 
My serious speculation here:
Gt6 will get some updates and we will hear more that GT7 is on its way now. It has to be something with GT7 as soon as GT6 updates are done after this. I really really believe GT7 will be mentioned.

I'm convinced that GT6 is developing so slowly because they are actually making everything for GT7, and scaling it back to fit. GT6 will become what it should shortly before GT7 is released, and PD will rely on a few extra's, greater stability and smoothness, and natural customer platform migration to sell the game. Though I could be wrong on that.
 
I belive when there will be news on updates. But this makes no sense to me. They can write what they want, but until its confirmed and promised i dont belive in speculations..
 
No wonder there's still two tiles missing from GT6's career menu, and 1 more tile missing from GT-Auto. Something's coming....

VGT cars, probably.
 
It will quite good if PD include some standard quality tracks for free for this game such as city courses like Costa di Amalfi and if they want to release paid DLC then premium quality tracks such as potentially Seattle Circuit and new Tokyo’s Ginza District spotted in trailer a while back and would be good if they released Monaco track with most of the old layouts.

That's my wild speculation ;).

From what he told us, it seems a GT6 on the PS3 wan't the original plan. I get your point though (grabs pinches of salt)

To be honest, I'd rather PD just stick to releasing high quality stuff, however it's a good point about original tracks, they are a no brainer for PD IMO, if they truly are looking to the forums to see what people want then they'll see that Midfield, SSR11, Red Rock Valley, Seattle, El Capitan, Costa di Amalfi and Citta di Aria are all in the top 8 suggested tracks in the suggestions forum. It's got to be easier for them to recreate those tracks than scan new real ones?
 
As far as unprecedented, significant developments go... I think a livery editor's one of the few things that fit the bill. Improved sounds, track editor, et cetera aren't really "unprecedented" in the series history. A livery editor certainly would be, though.

As for everything else...

Beautiful non-existant presents are almost positively referring to the Vision GT cars. They're "non-existant", for one. And they certainly qualify as being "a bit late", at a minimum. Beauty's in the eye of the beholder, however.

Tides will change... a bit tough to say what this one might mean. I don't think it just means that they'll be focusing on GT6 now that GT5 has been laid to rest... I don't think GT5 was really putting much strain on them anyways. But besides that, it seems like a hint at a tangible, specific development, not just a broad "there will be more developments from now on!" type of thing. My best guess as to what that development could be is improved physics.

Voices being heard in the unimaginable fashion is likely to be improved sounds... something that's unimaginable to many of the people who've given up on seeing anything better than vacuum sounds from the GT series.

Shapes becoming forms could be another allusion to a possible livery editor, or perhaps it's in reference to a track editor. It being for the track editor feels like a little bit more of a stretch to me, but we'll see.

Clearly VGTs. "beautiful" - well they are; "non-existent" = concept cars; "presents" = the VGT is gifted to you.

They are also the only thing both late and all of the things mentioned above.

All in all looks like a new VGT car and some announcement regarding the game.
