Tonight I saw a bunch of you in the leaderboard for various missions, that was cool.

I barely managed to not finish last on each I tried but I managed to finish 1st on the mission in Sardegna windmills with the Chaparal (and I had the pleasure to gold it too)

On the mission with American Sport cars on Deep Forest that was strange, my lap time was better than some, yet as I finished only 2nd, I am lower in the ranking. How is it possible to finish first with a slower time ?

You get gold if you finish first. Yet 2 of you (don't remember who) finished first with slower times than mine where I finish second (and much more than 1s behind n°1), do opponents drive slower sometimes ?

I understand. What mission is it about, I'll take a look. I also noticed that wind makes a big difference in some of the missions. Especially the ones with fuel consumption. Eventually found a video on YouTube and restarted so many times until I had the same wind direction and speed and then I completed the mission in 1 go. So it could indeed be the wind that makes opponents slower as well in the mission that you are talking about. Again, i'm not sure tho.

I also noticed that wind makes a big difference in some of the missions.

True I saw it with the one you have to slipstream up to 250km/h. Struggled until I waited to get a wind that was null. And I know I can do better with a favorable wind.

But the mission I refer to is one with all american muscle car and you start last with the Mach Forty
