G.TI absolutely HATE grey backgrounds. Why can't it be black.

Grey's just a neutral colour, but it doesn't really matter as I'm never looking at the desktop of the PC anyway. I used to be into skinning the PC to look different or cool or whatever, but I realised, for me at least, it was a bit pointless. I could never settle on a theme or wallpaper I really liked, so instead of having to change it every two days when I got bored of looking at a Carrera GT's behind, I just changed it to this grey background.
p.s. For me, it's not about freeing RAM, as someone said before. I'm not that cheap

The taskbar's usually hiding though.
And, yeah, I'm too lazy to use the weird start menu.

Thanks for the advice.donbenniYou should get an application loader Rot, like Stardock's Objectdock. Works in the same way as the quicklaunch bar, but looks nicer and you dont need the whole start menu up. Have a look
They actually had a special on those on a TV show today, comparing OS X/KDE desktops with Objectdock and I was about to try it out. 
Are you using Objectdock on the desktop pic shown on your DevART site?

It's a nice car and I like the design... just not the rear lights. To me they should have tried something more, erm, 'radical', like they did with the Z4, 1, 5, 7, to match the aggressive front. This looks just boring and like a rip off.EvilToasthey hey hey thats my fav beemer.
But I don't seem the only one being reminded of a mid/late '90s Nissan, according to various message boards and letters to the editors of a bunch of car mags here.
