My latest desktop to go along with my latest purchase. Photos of that in Latest Purchase thread.

My CRT isn't running the same resolution as my LCD, that's why the taskbars don't line up.

Yea yea yuck it up lol. I kept it for gaming because of input lag and panel delay and just haven't got a new LCD yet. I need an IPS type panel for good color gamut, plus I really want 1920x1200 to match my current LCDs vertical res. So I'm looking at 24"-25", and close to $600 or even more. I've got to bring my whole system up before that, so I'm cool with the CRT.

bad quality.

btw, how do you guys manage to post good quality screen pics?
what I do is, I take a screen still, then I paste it in MS paint, and save it as as JPEG? im doing something wrong?

That's pretty much what I do. Just Ctrl-PrintScreen, open a new image in Photoshop, Edit->Paste, resize the image so it's not too big to toss on a forum, save it, upload it somewhere and put it in my post.

The problem is in Paint, it is terrible at saving JPEG's. I'd suggest finding a print-screen program or free basic image-editing software.

As said, paint is your problem, it isnt a problem on windows 7 (not sure about vista) but it was definately a problem on XP. If you need to use paint, save it as the file format it originally says (I think it is BMP or PNG or something) because it wont kill the colours when it saves it. The problem is the size of the image, it will be alot bigger but at least it will look better.

Just look at getting a basic photo editing program 👍.

Re-installed Rainmeter. Can't get the weather feeds to work though, the Enigma has a plain stupid way of setting it up and no matter what you enter, it does not work.

OH MY GAWD, thats beautiful, where do find those unbeleivable photos!??! And that calendar with the weather, is it dynamic? (I have a calendar but it does not show the weather).

That works best if you have no icons and hide the task bar. I have done that to a friends computer before, he just bought it that day too.
Hey I've posted of YouTube video like that. It does look like a real BSOD a lot. Here's the vid:

Decided to tidy up my rocketdock and make it look a bit sleeker, i've still got to get a few of the icons sorted before it's finished completely though.
