Let's see what's in your garage

I apologize if this has already been done, I searched and didn't find anything.

Post up the contents of your Gran Turismo 4 garage and a brief description of each car if you want. If you have 200 cars or something ridiculous, just post up some of your favorite cars.

From lowest to highest horsepower:

1.) Mazda MX-5 Miata 1800 RS (J) '04 - 259 HP - I built this to be a fun underpowered car, but I never drive it. Considering converting it to a drifter.

2.) Nissan SILVIA Varietta (S15) '00 - 278 HP - My rear wheel drive drifter, just learning.

3.) Honda CRX SiR '90 - 294 HP - Fully modified. My front wheel drive drifter, pretty fast for what it is and tons of fun. Sounds like a sewing machine, though.

4.) Subaru IMPREZA Rally Car '01 - 305 HP - I won this car, never driven it, I like my other Impreza too much. 0.0 miles.

5.) Lotus Motorsport Elise '99 - 350 HP - I did every modification to this car. Great car, very light and nimble, tons of fun. Power:Weight ratio only 1.821!

6.) BMW M3 GTR '03 - 380 HP - Just won this in the BMW "M" races with my other M3. Not sure what I'm going to do with this.

7.) Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STi Spec-C '04 - 501 HP - First good car I bought, it's the car that brought me through most of the game and bought me the rest of these cars. Now converted to use as a rally car occasionally.

8.) BMW M3 CSL '03 - 524 HP - Fully modified, fantastic car, handles great and very fast.

9.) Nissan 350Z LM Race Car '02 - 533 HP - First real race car I won, nice car, used it for a while although it is now being phased out by my other race cars.

10.) Chevrolet Silverado SST Concept '02 - 577 HP - Useless thing, but it looks awesome, plus everyone needs a fast truck in the garage.

11.) Audi A4 Touring car '04 - 654 HP - I LOVE this car. My primary car for european events and now starting to use it in some endurance events.

12.) Chrysler 300C '05 - 671 HP - I built this up because it's my car in real life. Isn't really all that good despite it's huge power, I think it might make an interesting drift car, though. Served me well in the american events, though.

13.) Mercedes SL 65 AMG (R230) '04 - 836 HP - Pretty much my dream car, so I bought it just because. Great fun running laps around Nurburgring.

14.) Mercedes SLR Mclaren '03 - 866 HP - Extremely disappointing given it's cost (610,000 Cr.) plus all the money I put into it. I can honestly say my SL65 is a better car overall.

15.) Saleen S7 '02 - 895 HP - Stupid car, waste of money...I need to play with the tuning more, it doesn't like to turn properly.

16.) Formula Gran Turismo '04 - 904 HP - Won this recently after completing the Nurburgring 24h. Everybody needs one of these in their garage.

17.) Cadillac CIEN '02 - 987 HP - This car SCREAMS. It's more like a fighter jet than a car. Just keeps pulling, wild car.

18.) AMG Mercedes CLK-GTR Race Car '98 - 1066 HP - I won this for the 24h at Nurburgring endurance, which ended up being not that fun because it was wwwaaayyy overpowered. Incredible car, though - stupid fast and it handles.

19.) Suzuki ESCUDO Dirt Trial Car '98 - 1124 HP - Ridiculous car, goes straight like nothing else but good luck turning it ahahaha. 0.712 power:weight ratio. Another car you just have to have in your garage.

Wish list:
- Suzuki GSX-R/4 (How do I get this?)
- Bentley Speed 8
- Ford Falcon XR8 Race Car (I want to have an Aussie V8 Supercar, I think I'm going to go buy this one right now)

Anyway, post up what you've got!

Too many to count, oh wait there's a counter at the bottom. A couple of my favourites are at Aussie Tuners, gotta see CIEN to believe. I'm not sure if this thread will fly but you can try- hey that rhymes:)

My favorite cars are:

1: My Suzuki Cappucino. My favorite Drifta car.
2: My Suzuki GSX R/4. Like a small F1 car.
3: My Peugeot 106 S16. One of my favorite front wheel drive cars.
4: My '04 Honda Integra. Goes like hell.
5: My Fiat 500F. Cute little bugger.
6: My Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR. Fully Modded, My favorite rally car.
7: My Honda Civic Type R '04. Like the Integra, but cheaper.
8: My Subaru Impreza WRX STI coupe. I just love it.
9: My Tommy Kaira ZZII. Fast. Need I say more?

Uhh... I haff meny cahz ta sayh.

200+ cars in my garage... I'll just list a few:

ABT TT-R: Now with an awesome tune in it (sig), it's actually fun to run the DTM. However, the sound puts me to sleep.

787B: Hell yes. My favourite Group C by a LONG shot. Sig.

'95 Integra: Got two different configurations of this thing; a "faster than most FF Tuner Challenge entries" 30k build up (On R2 tires, though), and a full blown racer (sig).

'02 RX-7 Spirit R: Handles awesome, gets tons of grip from cheapseat tires, even with default suspension. Oh, and I got a tune for it too.

Ehh... I don't feel like going on.

Favourites of mine are:

1.Impreza Spec-C.....beats most cars stock, when worked to 522hp (S5 turbo), then things get VERY FUN!! :D I have 2, a white one to get dirty in on rallies and a blue one for 7 seconds of 1/4 mile heaven. :D

2.RX7 Bathurst R.....can run low 8s, is mad for drifting, very versatile all around.

3.'69 Bellett GT-R.....just because it reminds me of my Gemini back in the day. :) Getting it to do burnouts to 200km/h on test course is fun too. :)

4.Holden Commodore SS.....my drift car. 700hp+, churns tyres to butter up until 160km/h and gives great angles around tight circuits!! :D

5.Toyota Caldina GT-Four.....my future family car!! 550hp of 3S-GTE power thanks and low 9s using it's stock 4spd auto gearbox and smashes Zonda's & Nardo's around Le Sarthe down the straight without the bottle!! :D

6.Toyota Supra RZ.......bone stock except a nitrous bottle....EVERY time I race with this car on Family Cup Level +10 I know I'm in for a good race against some good Euro competition!!

They're my favourites, not the best cars in my collection (well, the Spec-C's are!! :P) but cars I can't get away from for some weird reason.

Mafs!!

Heh, I´ve got them all! and a few duplicates as well... 733 in total...

My favorites are the Le Mans racers (LMP/GTP, Group C, GT1, especially GT1!) and some of the made up racecars, such as the Zonda LM, XJ220 LM, Ford GT LM Spec II.

Like Team666 I have them all and a few duplicates. exactly 800 in total.

Strangely, even with so many beautiful classics and exotics and well balanced race cars available to me, my favorite is an orange Opel speedster with silver roof and wing. I think it is something to do with the satisfaction you get from building a car capable of beating GT cars, and for a fraction of the cost.

Umm, let's see... I have only 6 pages of cars, so that makes, what, 60 cars? But anyway, I'm NOT going to list them all, just my top 10 or so...

1. Nissan Skyline GT-R VSpec R32. Black, as most of my cars are, with full tune and some bad ass drag race setups :sly: Even has some okay settings for real racing as well.
2. Honda NSX-R Concept. 330 something bhp, awesome handling. Nothing drives as well in my garage than that :P
3. Nissan Skyline GTS-T Type M. Made with drifting in mind ;)
4. Nissan Silvia S13. Drifter as well.
5. Mercedes-Benz 190E EVOII. Kept it completely stock. Perfection can't be made better
6. RUF RGT. 569 bhp. Black. In one word: kick-ass!
7. Mazda 787B. Just loving the sound of the rotary at high rpm's
8. Cadillac Cien. For the same reason as the Mazda; the sound
9. Pagani Zonda C12S 7,3. It looks like it's from the future. Sexy beast, with ridicilous amount of power behind the drivers seat. Gotta love it.
10. Now this one is hard... The nine first ones were fairly straight-forward, but this is difficult. Well, I'll say it's Honda HSC. I'll add some cars if I remember I forgot something :dopey:

Well I have over 400 cars, but I know it's not enough...

I should buy the rest of'em (I have 21 million:)) but still I'm afraid that my memory card won't have enough space!

My favorite cars are Toyota Minolta, Polyphony Formula-1(I know it's not called like that!), Vitz "00 :yuck:(Some of you should say why does he like this car, well because it's fast on corners and I modified it, it's not that special but I still can beat my friends with it hehe!)

I have 2 #1's: the STi Spec-C and a 22B STi.
2. is a really fast 240SX
3. I call it The Obliterator: a 60's Camaro Z28. It is mean.
4. Audi RS6. 4WD at its (almost) best (can't beat the STi's)
5. Mercedes SL500, 90's one.

I've had 225 at one time but sold most of them and started collecting and racing cars from the '60's and have never had more fun with this game. Most of the cars now receive only porting/polishing and balancing, sport exhaust, sport suspension, upgraded clutch, and racing brakes. A couple have Stage 1 engine mod but all transmissions remain stock. I try to keep the modifications in line with what you might have found in that era. My favorites so far;

65 Fiat 500F
20HP so stay outta my way.

65 Toyota SPORTS 800
68HP Family Cup terror

64 Ginetta G4
104HP I used this car in the British Lightweight to win the Lotus Europa which I needed to win the 62 Lotus Elan. There are only three races in the British Lightweight but I had to run each several times since the Elise is a mainstay in that series and beating an Elise with a G4 is no small task. Luckily there are no black flags in this game and airborne cars land on all fours.

62 Lotus Elan
142HP This has got to be the best balanced car in the game in my opinion. I've added Stage 1 engine mod because it will be used later tonight in the 4 hour race at Nurburgring. I'm hoping the Opel Speedster is there because I think this car can beat it.

68 Nissan Fairlady 2000
156HP One sweet roadster and a consistent Polyphony Digital Cup winner unless the SL55 AMG is there.

65 Shelby Mustang GT350
345HP One of the most successful cars I've owned

67 427 Cobra
545HP A handful at any speed. Being in this car at the ends of the straights at Laguna Seca and Grand Valley is the most fun you can have at 155mph. Over 3000 miles and has never lost a race.

subaru impreza (not the spec-c)
mitsubitshi lancer evo VIII } theses tunes will or are avaliable at AUSSIE TUNERS
Nissan Skyline GT-R Vspec NUR II

also my monaro and commodore

Let’s see here. My latest game is based off of a less is more attitude.

I have been buying cars that will serve a purpose only. Well at least I that is what I have been trying to do.

Some of my well used, favorites are:

’99 Nissan Skyline GT-R ( Active Red ) – This is my latest games workhorse. It has run the most races, completed the most series, and has absorbed the most credits from tuning and frame refresh treatments than any other car in my garage. I can easily say that I have spent more on the car than it could ever be worth. As far as tuning, it has everything available for it except for modifications that permanently alter its stock specifications. (No weight reduction, ports polished, increased displacement, etc.)

’92 Nissan R92CP ( Black ) – I had read in a couple threads here that the car would scrub out a set of tires pretty fast. So in my first 2 games I had passed up this car in favor of some of the other beasts that were available. But I have found that with a little tuning it’s pretty easy to remedy its tire munching problem. It’s a fiendishly fast car and handles very well even when the frame warps to hell. Now I just have to find a way to increase its fuel economy.

‘XX Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution ??? – (Various colors) From GT2 up until recently I had been a true Impreza follower. But I just started messing with the early Evo’s ( I, II, III & V) And I have found them to be a refreshing contrast to the WRX’s. Where the Subaru’s are stiff in the corners showing a good amount of under steer, the Evo’s tend to be a little more nimble. Not as much fight required as the WRX’s. Out of this group, my favorites are II, V and VII.

'71 240ZG - Great little classic car. I only wish that the classic car leagues went abobe 1970 to allow it in.

'67 & '70 Skylines. I used a stock GT-B in the 1000 mile race and it was a blast to drive. Very quick and stable. next time around I am going to run the '70 GT-R against the benze and jag.

If you ever get bored with the cars give hybrids a chance :)
A V6 powered Honda Beat isn't a bad drifter at all..

It's sad how most people are just building super fast hybrids with couple million horsepower, it ruins the game and is so unrealistic.
I think it's much more fun to slap an old VW beetle some 4wd drivetrain and a 300HP rotary engine, maybe even "disable" the suspension so the car will drive like it's on ice :sly:

(sorry for being a bit off-topic, it's just my favorite cars are mostly mild hybrids I've made)

Lets hope you are already most of the way through the game. Selling all but one of your cars is pretty idiotic, unless it's the only car you'll need.
