We are talking about driving. Not only drifting. This is not a D1 competition, so judge is not necessary, but racing rules will still be valid.

Thing is, I know you're a horrible driver. Doesn't mean you can't be fast. I will take you to a drift comp any day, because I'm a drifter not a racer. But driving =/= racing. I've seen you on the track a couple of times, and your attitude towards other drivers needs to change before my opinion of your driving will.

They are against it, because it's singling out a single person, and not a friendly based competition like VDC is.
