All happens during NBA All-Star weekend. Now, that doesn't confirm anything for their VGT project though.

Thanks, to both of you. As GTPorsche said, there is no clear sign that the Jordan VGT might be involved with this actual celebration, but of course that does not rule the project out from appearing either. And since it starts on a Thursday and ends on a Sunday, we could see the car being unveiled during the week, and then appearing the week afterwards. Again, it's mostly speculation at this point.

Well, evidence points to Jordan's machine atleast being in the 1.15 files in some manner. I wouldn't yet discard one of the things planned for it's 30th anniversary to be the reveal of it's Vision Gran Turismo entry.

Not sure if this has been posted before. But for those who are annoyed by the Rainbow livery, i found this pic on the Top Gear website..

Am I the only one who thinks this car isn't flashy enough?

To me It just looks like a really nice GT3 car that I could see in a couple of years or so, not really flashy enough for VGT.

But that's just my opinion tho.

Wonder what it will sound like, seeing how PD has recently been trying things with sound.

Most likely like something PD have already made. I don't think we know for sure what's in it, but it could be an inline four, or a V6. Turbo, either way.
The original LF-LC uses a V8 if I'm not mistaken, being a pseudo GT3 car like Lexus claims would mean that it would use the same engine as the original if my knowledge of GT3 regs doesn't fail me.

We've heard PD Do a decent job at simulating a flat-plane V8, a Boxer and a Rotary. We've yet to see what they can do with a V12 or a cross-plane V8.

Could be our first AES powered cross-plane V8, then. But I doubt it; I thought it had hybrid ambitions, anyway.

Where was the flat-plane V8? There are three different V6 sounds, too.

V12s work fine. :D

Wasn't the Infiniti VGT a car with a Flatplane V8? I thought those were generally the ones that don't have that roar and are in cars like the Ferrari 458.

Historically they cannot V12.

With the sampling method, no. But with the AES method, they made a very noticeable difference with the Boxer in the Subaru VGT (in comparison to the other ones they have done) so a V12 could sound decent for once.

Sounds quite similar to a 458, a 4.5 litre NA Flatplane V8.

Ah, yes, but the Infiniti used samples. It wasn't a bad sound altogether, though. They do seem to put some effort into these VGTs on that front.

Wait so it didn't use the AES method? It sounds so different from the other cars.

My guess is itll be the 5.0L V8 in the RC F and GS F. If not, maybe a fictional engine. Theres no official engine designation for the LF LC, yet.

Perhaps you should stop posting now...
Have not posted in a while, so I am just catching up. Not spamming or doing anything horrible. Also, what I just posted about the Lexus VGT was a bad typo. I meant to say "I agree" but accidentally deleted some parts of the post I was replying to.
