thats good. the GT website should be the first place news is read.

plus, itll fill the Lexus GT3 space for those GT3 leagues. ;)

From the GTPlanet news.
lthough performance specifications have not yet been finalized, the car is designed to be competitive with other GT3-spec racers.

Hybrid powertrain?

The LF-LC concept is a hybrid, so yes.

When the "hybrid-blue L" is on a Lexus car, its a hybrid. I love it. As far as looks its tied with the Mazda LM55 for appeal imo. Those wheels are amazing.

... Looks fantastic! Hopefully it handles well enough then it may just become my favourite VGT!

EDIT-
Slightly off-topic and do apologise for that, but I have a theory....

We all know what Racing Sim is coming out in March, right? My theory is that PD is stockpiling all these releases for one bigupdate in the month of March to tempt the fanbase back to GT6. Whether it will be a normal update or Spec 2.0 with a few new features, I don't know and it would be childish to attempt to speculate on that but when PD goes quiet... They usually have something up their sleeve...

Kaz has stated in interviews, he doesn't care what everyone else are doing. it shows. he races, hosts and attends events, forms allegiances with racing governing bodies, features in movies, test drives cars he buys, manages a studio, doodles and still dreams up stuff. PCars is coming during March Madness and mid-terms for students. If GT7 is coming Christmas '15, he's not flinching. ;)

And i love the Lexus Racing tyres.

............Spring? SPRING??? NNNNOOOOO...........
By the way, please let me get rid of that rainbow on the side....there's a word to describe it, and to quote Mr. Clarkson, it's a four letter word, starts with a s, ends with a t, and it isn't salt.

Slot?

Spring? What's with the strange release dates for these VGTs lately? The Alpine comes in March, the Lexus comes... somewhere in the middle of Spring. (sarcasm starts) That's not ambigous at all... (sarcasm ends)

But hey, despite being somewhat what I expected (LF-LC on racing steroids), goddamm it's pretty. Love that racing livery, since VGTs have photo potential, this comes with plenty of it. Throw in one or two extra colours, and I'll be more than happy. Also, I agree with the theory that this will be a hybrid, with the blue Lexus logo and all. Not to mention that it is the same spec that the original LF-LC concept has...

Haha... Yeah, I think PD have realized that some are get tired of being told "SOON" so they are just trying to find out how being slightly less vague goes down.

It's the new VGT phase: where the cars are mostly white and the release dates do not use the word "soon".

"Hey, Kaz?"

"Yeah, what is it?"

"We told the players that the Lexus comes this Spring... Shouldn't we tell them what exact date in Spring that is going to be?"

"Mmmh... Nah."

Also, don't take the fact that this car has a numberplate and think that we can change it for granted. The FT-1 VGT also had one, and that is non-changeable. So keep that in mind. ;)

Why spring update?
Why cant they include them now or early Feb.?
So that means no updates till March?
Is PD on holidays or what

Remember the hiatus GT6 had last year in the same months as now? It seems this period is their holiday break. Last year it took a couple of months for the next VGT, the BMW, to appear along with the Corvette Stingray Gran Turismo Concept.

I think they learned the mistakes of last year of intently killing off the hype to avoid making people impatient.

Nice, I love it!

If the rainbow stripes do change color as your view changes, i'd really like a paint chip like this. The one we have now is really oily and looks like those puddles you sometimes find in parking lots.
