Although this is probably a discussion for another thread, can I ask where is the unrealistic innovation?I too believe designers should have more realistic innovation.

With more than 2 dozen firms involved, you're bound to get different levels of enthusiasm and commitment. I suspect Kaz just went to them and said, "we have this idea, design a concept car for us, do whatever you like, we'll put it in the game, the fans would really like to see what you can create without limitations and we'll cross promote everything on Youtube and in the game to create some buzz for you and us. What do you think?" Some will see it as an opportunity to be really creative, some will take a more real world approach. It would be easy to argue that those taking a more conservative and real world approach are actually the more serious participants, given that their cars have a chance of going into production, and I don't think we'll be seeing any laser powered cars any time soon.I have no problem with this Lexus being based on an existing concept car. It's not as if we are getting a body-kitted version of a car currently in GT6, plus it's based on one of my favourite concept cars of all time.
With both Lexus and Toyota taking this approach to their VGT projects you have to wonder if the designers were not permitted to spend extensive time on them by the company management as they didn't see the benefit matching the investment.
It resembles the GT3 RC-F's livery:What's up with the shiny rainbow stuff? There's a word for it, can't remember.
