@Brunoblak might have someting to say about it too...
Well, here are some facts:@Brunoblak is from Brazil. He frequently pops in these Seasonal Event threads and posts his videos. He doesn't usually say anything, but I'm guessing it's just a language barrier issue. His laps are usually very, very good. Until someone proves it is not a legit time I am going to consider it the best time so far. I've got his lap looping on my TV as I write this. I honestly do not see anything that would lead me to believe his lap is not legit. Yes, he is carrying a lot of speed into those corners. A LOT more than I could handle. But, half the people in this thread carry more speed than me through these corners. He knocked it out of the park with this lap. I am very impressed! That's 5 seconds faster than my best time...on a short track five seconds is a lot!!
Thanks to @matej2547 for this tune, I finished the seasonal in 199th place. I'm over the moon with this as I found it one of the most difficult tests but I really tried my best and very happy with this result.Wow, this is ace! Using this got me down to 1:29.155 currently 348th in the world, after an hour with it.
...another 1.5 hours and I finally put most of my best corners together for 1:28.693 currently 187th. Happy with this, it's the best I can do here and a big improvement over attempts on the first day of the event.
Wow. I didn't even think to look at the tachometer that closely. Some detective I am. Man... I am disappoint.Well, here are some facts:
Don't you see anything weird in his rpm's dial?
The red zone of his dial begins at 9000 rpm's, this means the maximum power possible of his engine is:
Performance Points ----> 574 PP
Power -------------------> 620 BHP
Torque ------------------> 55.4 kgfm
Power to weight ratio --> 1.96 kg/BHP (all weight reduction parts added, in order to lower the ratio as much as possible)
This data is with the added power of an oil change + isometric exhaust manifold + intake tuning, none of them modify the red zone.
With this engine and power to weight ratio, the only way to make competitive times is adding grip to the car, adding downforce or getting tires with more grip, none of these things are possible in this TT.

You seem to know a lot about editing grip to the car! How can this be done?
Yeah, but we got to get someone to do it. I dont know how, and my "go-to guy" is not availableThe thing about grip is probably language barrier. He pasted the translation he was using to help show that, I think.
Ultimately the truth is in the replay metadata so that's all we have to wait for. Maybe I'll get 198th!
Alter the grip ammount of the tires or add downforce by altering the game file. You can still do this pretty much in the same way as you did in GT5 (GE).I'm sorry to ask, are you guys suspecting him cheating on the seasonal with better tire, more PP or whatever that is? Shouldn't this be PD job to prevent the hacking to happen in the first place?
Another thought may be he does something in the settings that somehow exploits the glitch/bug by accident and not intentionally doing this. He seems like an excellent driver.
It's a real shame that he resorted to cheating. I will admit that I didn't suspect that he was cheating because he would always post his laps (uploaded to YouTube) in these threads. I didn't watch every single one, but I watched several. You could tell he was a very good driver, but now that I've gone an re-watched his LFA lap at Brands Hatch several times, I have come to the same conclusion as you guys. A real shame it is.
