Kind of sad about the volume buttons on the back being removed, they were my favourite feature of the G-Series. The bezels look a bit thick, too. Other than that, I think it looks great.

Do people really check benchmark on phone before buying it ?

As for the G5 it looks pretty cool. I really like how the top ends.

Not really and while the benchmark results will most of the time be applicable on daily use (lag, perfomance, multitasking), in this case its quite close you dont really noticing it.

However, LG are historically behind Samsung in benchmark by quite a bit. Now, the position changed.

I wonder how well the module thing will be supported, there are only two at the moment. I still think the G3 was the best looking LG flagship the 4 and 5 don't look as attractive IMO.

It's just a shame that Samsung's version of Android ruins the phones. At least it did. Don't know how that is today.

They tried to make their own environment but got confused instead. Gear Devices not using Android Wear is the one, making the device practically lack of support. Also the duplicate software that gone awkward in process in the Android, making the device littered with a bloatware (S Translator with Google Transalate, S Voice with Google Voice, Samsung Pay with Android Pay, and so on).

I generally thought Samsung's horrible design decisions ruined their phones, regardless of OS. Well that and their tasteless marketing.

I'm interested in the G5 only because of the camera, but it is just too damn large of a phone for what I want.
