The Lingenfelter 427 TT is one of the fastest C5 generation 'Vette's ever. Its engine is a twin turbo 7 litre V8 (roughly 1,300cc larger than the regular C5 ZO6's V8) that produces 725 horsepower. It can hit 60 mph in just over 3 seconds and thunders on to speeds of well over 220 mph.

Now, Lingenfelter has made even faster and more powerful evolutions of the C5, but none of them have the signature smooth and exotic look of the 725. We have some very good Corvette's in the current GT lineup, but this sleek bodied monster could potentially be a force to be reckoned with for pure straight line performance...

.........Nice - although I wonder how good is the cooling system for this car, seeing it has virtually no grill/air intake upfront....
