I hope it's fine that I partnered TLD and SCR together in the SCR HOME PAGE.:nervous: I know Paulie and I have talked about it before....but having it there should just advertise the TLD Tuning shop even further.:)

Well I'm off to stay at a friends for a couple days, although I haven't done much over the past week or two. As I already informed Paulie, I'm really waiting on GT5 these days, I have plenty of time to get important things and anything else gaming fitted in so we should be able to look forward to a good partnership once GT5 arrives :)

A new breed of vehicle is in the works for the full GT5, known as the Predator Edition X.👍 More information will follow when GT5 is released.;)

4th: 0.960
5th: 0.818
6th: 0.698
Final: N/A

Description: The new Evora is barely even on dealer lots yet, but TLD has gotten one to tune up and show the world it can be more than a capable cruiser. Although it is an unfinished product, the final product will one day have a proper close ratio 6spd gearbox and as much as 300kw or more. For now though we're offering you what can still be considered a modern day NSX, that is offering supercar performance for half the price and with half the power. Although the 0-100km/hr in 4.6sec is not mind blowing, it's fast enough, but it's the track times this works magic with. We here at TLD like to think this car has something for everyone, it's track focused and responsive, yet smooth for those who know what they're doing, it's got lift-off turning capability, but doesn't understeer much on throttle, it's fast in a straight line, but feels like a GT cruiser thanks to the poorly long gear ratios. Yep, this car ought to turn heads, we imagine Lotus will make a number of sales just from people who'll want this Predator Edition.

Tracks Tuned for/on:
All tracks

Tuner's Notes:
Leave the shift as long as possible before fuel cut-out
Make use of the lift-off oversteer
You can use the throttle to stabilise the car in big lift-off oversteer moments if they ever happen
This car has way more potential than is possible in Prologue

we imagine Lotus will make a number of sales just from people who'll want this Predator Edition.

You bet :sly: Reminds me of a mod of rFactor that lead to heaps of purchases of the game just to play the mod, but development of it stopped suddenly :(

Anyway, as soon as I get over the hurdle of work that is the week to come, I'll be getting right into GT5P again. It's been a while since I've been in a TLD car... can't wait 👍

The go-go '90s marked a decade of rapid devlopment, a change to our well known rushed lifestyle, and many new fast cars. The Elise was one such car to come out of the go-go '90s, and TLD is now offering a tune to compete in a specialised event, where go-going fast is very important. Enjoy this far more stable Elise, it's quite a hoot to drive.

Make use of lift-off oversteer

TLD Evora Predator Edition

Well I couldn't finish that DB9 set up in time, I just spent 6 hours re-doing my gaming clans website (which i'll link you for in this post, you might be interested in one for TLD as well one day but maybe it's not all that appropriate).

BUT I did get a chance to try out this beautiful Lotus, and it was a joy to drive. As with most my cars, I take them to Eiger first, as its my favourite track and I could practically drive it blindfolded and know exactly where every bump is. The Evora PE felt great around here, I mean it's a Lotus I expected good but what I got was much better then I expected. The car felt balance, controllable and fast, I wasn't afraid to throw the car around, let the back come out because I knew I could almost always get it back in line on my command. Cars like this are why I love driving sims, those cars where you just can't help but smile, controllable, yet exciting, fast but not frightening, precise and responsive. I'm not the kind of person who likes to drive the bad cars, I like to make cars better, and see cars at their full potential, and sat in that Lotus I felt that.

Oh and here's that website I was working on for my clan (warning cheesey slogans present).

Thanks for the review and supreme compliments.:D I feel that way in the XK we have here at TLD for 550 PP, even though it's practically a Predator Edition.:) The car feels almost perfect to drive, correct response to absolutely every input, the ability to slide and recover at will, I feel right at home in that Jag.:)
Congrats on your website, sounds like a lot of work has gone in.👍 Hope you enjoy its use.:) I don't see a need for a TLD one though, this thread is enough.👍

I figured as much, it doesn't really feel like something TLD needs. Your welcome for the compliments and comments as well, I took my Aston out and wasn't completely happy and had just spent a full 6-7 hours working on the website. I'd been having a few troubles with my clan so I had to respond to that first and foremost this time and it payed off later yesterday which was nice. But I thought I'd get something done for you as well. I'm actually taking my PS3 away with me this time so hopefully I can try out some more cars, I think me sitting their tuning might be a bit anti-social to my friend

No worries mate, you do what you have to do.:) I can always sustain the garage on my own as I always used to do if need be.👍 Prologue's pretty much dead anyway, it's a case of priorities. Most people using the tunes here are for specialised events anyway, like WRS and It's Friday.;)

Description: The new 1 series coupe has been hailed as the successor to the BMW 2002 Turbo, until everyone found out how heavy it was which cost it dearly in performance. That's where we came in, stripping out some weight to make it a real performer. We decided to give it a name similar to the 2002 Turbo while retaining links to its 135i name. So maybe the name isn't genius, but as you can expect from TLD, the car is, so have fun.

Turns 2 and 3 should be done in 4th gear.

Tiny bit of lift-off oversteer you might be able to use.

All I needed to do from Fuji to Suzuka was change the final drive, hope it brings some drivers much luck.:)

Description: The Infiniti G37 Concept car was designed for one thing and one thing only, getting off a trailer, on to a stand and looking pretty. However it still shares much in common with the later production car and possesses a lot of cool gadgets. When TLD heard they were going to scrap it we made an offer for it they couldn't refuse, but naturally less than RRP of a normal G37 Coupe. So, first thing to do was get rid of the un-tuned suspension, originally designed to simply make sure the car sat on its wheels and not the ground, as opposed to going around corners. A customisable TLD suspension was added and tuned, she now cruise through corners with absolute poise and stability. Next the get-me-moving-to-the-stand gearbox was replaced with a TLD unit 5spd. 6 gears were not required for our purpose of running at Suzuka only. The make-me-look-pretty tyres are now replaced with semi-slick racing tyres as well. The engine, in order to keep withing class regulations is un-modified, luckily it already has a sports exhaust on it though. Finally we've removed some of the more silly gadgets, and used a dice of carbon fibre to get the weight down a little, though it's still a portly 1548kg, but you'll only feel that weight RIGHT on the limit.

Description: It's not every day TLD gets to work on a French car, let alone a bonkers mid-engined V6 hatch! When an owner brought his in requesting that his Clio be given more poke and the handling to match in order to keep up with modern V6 sports cars, we offered him performance to beat them all. The plan saw an intercooled centrifugal type supercharger fitted to the V6, as well as extensive weight reduction all over combined with new TLD tuned suspension and gearbox. As we now have the blueprint of what we did we're offering the same kit to anyone with a Clio V6, it will really put a kick in your back!

HI guys.

I'm in need of a new tune if you're still open for buisness.

I'd really like a 700PP F40 for Fuji, runiing on R3s.

The one I have now is a modified one of Dragonistic's tune for the 550PP F40 - which now runs on R3s, more power, less weight and arpund half of the toe degrees of the original - camber and springs are the same.

While the car in it's current state is 100000X more fun to drive than any of the other cars, and it can make good pace too (I have had a good amount of victories), I'd love of to have more bite a the front. Sometimes it feels like it just doesn't want to go into the corner. While I'd like more grip at the front, I don't want to compromise the stability - because its an amazingly involving, suprisingly safe and rewarding car in it's current state, and I'd like to keep it that way - just more front end grip.

Anyways - I was wondering if one of you could please possibly come up with either an all out tune, or a solution to my problem.

👍 cheers.

Now, the tune. It turns out I've tried this car at Fuji 700 PP before, and last time too it didn't need any real changes from an old 650 PP setup which worked at both Suzuka and Fuji. The gears didn't even need lengthening because the old setup couldn't use the entire rev range due to power drop-off, effectively making the gears shorter. Here it is:

TLD Fezza Fast40 500th Edition

Description: The Lion's Den has reached 500 posts , and to celebrate I am releasing this special edition Ferrari F40. One of the most desired and respected supercars in history, the F40 is a beautiful machine. TLD has tuned it to a point far better than the original in every way. It took a lot of doing to find an F40 that we could actually modify, being such a collectable. We wanted one that had been wrecked so we wouldn't be ruining a mint original, and after a long time of scouring junk yards the world over, we received a call from a disgruntled owner who wrecked his at a track meet and wanted us to take it and give it a better life. Enjoy celebrating 500 replys to TLD, and thanks for all your support so far!

Tracks Tuned For/On:
Suzuka
Fuji

Tuner's Notes:
Shift up at 6000-7000rpm, do not run to the redline as you're making no power there
Be careful on the throttle at the hairpin, unlike the other Ferraris this will spin the wheels there if not cautious
At 700 PP shift at the normal 8,000rpm
Just be smooth on throttle applications

And I can't get online on PSN, which is a real pain for setting up... if Paulies set up doesn't work for you how you'd like I'll do another. In the mean time anyone for a 599 Predator Edition with 645bhp?

Well you have my tune to use right now if you like, just come back when the events update and ask again, not much happening lately so we should have plenty of time to do it for you.

Description:
The Ferrari 599 is well known for being an outrageous fast long distance cruiser rather then being a track racer, the guys here at TLD think not outrageous enough! Thats right ladies and gents, 645 raging Italian stallions going only to the rears, now hows that for a kick up your backside? The suspension has been set to tame this mountain of power as best possible, shortshifting is still advised when accelerating through long sweepers which just makes it all the more exciting when you can go right up to redline with that glorious V12 whailing. We ask that all drivers keep in mind exactly what they're driving, this is no Lotus Elise, there's a huge V12 up front which will caused understeer if you try to throw it around to hard, brake early, turn in smoothly and feather the power on from low range. Power really is everything in this car and you can't help but marvel in the noise, the speed and the joy provided by such a ridiculous machine and fantastic engine. Power? Check, Passion? Check, Precision? 645bhp kinda dilutes that!

Tracks Tuned For/On:
All road courses.

Tuner's Notes:
I'm sorry, did I not make it clear that this car is running almost 650bhp? Naturally this means you have to use low range and feathering the throttle to stop the back coming out.
This car won't set lap time records but it will but a smile on your face.

This car looks absolutely bonkers Dragonistic! Well done.:D Maybe if I feel up to it I should get around to driving some of your Predator Editions and releasing more of my own. I made a Skyline Coupe with over 300kw (400hp) the other day.:dopey:

I may yet do a Mines with maximum power on PE specs. Thats around 700bhp for those of you wondering :D Then perhaps a GT... and a Viper... ok maybe I'm letting this power thing go to my head, I'm still working on a rather steady 500bhp DB9 :D

Funny you should mention Viper, I was thinking how nice a 400kw Viper GTS looked just yesterday.:sly: Were you doing the SRT10 or GTS? I really look forward to that DB9.👍

I hadn't decided which Viper to go for, I may try the GTS unless you had your eye on it, seeing as no-one ever uses the GTS anymore. The DB9 has been a real challenge for me, I just can't get it spot on how I want like most cars usually take a day or 2 but this DB9 has been on my mind for weeks. I'm getting there though.

Also strangely 700bhp on my mildly tweaked set up for the Mines has actually worked really well, it's shockingly grippy yet it hits 200mph coming into turn 1 on Daytona Road.
