Description: To infinity and beyond! That's where this car will take you, and it we labelled by many as "cheating", it really is that fast. Nothing yet compares to the handling of this car, which enables it to go faster than any other vehicle in its class. A truly shocking experience, but still not as forgiving as some other tunes so you better put on your racing helmet before stepping in the cockpit. This tune is a tribute to my mate VTiRoj, his Evo II NSX from RVV Motor Works has seen more mileage than all of the drivers of GTP put together have seen online, not only in testing to achieve perfection, but spanking supercars at Trial Mountain among other things. If you're ever playing GT4, drop by and give the car a test, and write a review for him while you're there!

Tracks Tuned for/on:
Suzuka

Suzuka

Tuner's Notes:
The car makes power to at least 8500rpm, shift here
Try and have it pointing straight when you begin to break for the hairpin otherwise the rear end will step out under breaks and you'll have a longer breaking distance
Aah, be careful?
Surprisingly forgiving for an NSX, I was dropping tyres on dirt and barely dropping any pace with only a bit of driver skill to correct
Lots and LOTS of traction thanks to added weight, foot down early
Shift at 8,000rpm
Make use of lift-off oversteer
Do NOT fling car into corners, ease of throttle to get the nose pointing where you like
Ordinarily, I wouldn't bother with a car that needs downgrading to reach race regulations, but by popular demand.........

A new 550 PP setup for some of the Gran Turismo die-hard faithfuls still racing out there. I know some Trans Tasman racers out there who may find this one very handy.;)

Description: The team at Lion's Den Performance have been eagerly anticipating their chance to tune a Tuscan Speed Six, and with that chance finally here they've turned out this monstrous Predator. With 310kw, the power-to-weight ratio will put many a supercar to shame. I will however admit this car feels only half way there, given adjustable sway bars and differential settings and the like, we hope to make a much more impressive Speed Six in the future. We also have a soft spot for the Cerbera, and really look forward to adding one of those to our range here at LDP. Until then, enjoy this wild thing!

Tracks Tuned For/On:

Aren't you a big RX-7 fan? Let's see one of them. ;)

Weirdly I don't like the RX7s stock appearance all that much, if it was my world it would have some sort of bodykit, probably from RE Amemiya. That said, I'll work on an RX7 if I don't see anything else requested tomorrow.

That tune (749pp) just got me my first victory in S10 on professional physics :D

👍

That car has amazing grip, sometimes I forgot, this car is not 4WD. It has so much grip thats what it feels like :D It is a masterpiece. Time and time again I failed, but upon trying that car again, I managed to take the lead car on the 4th lap, when I often finished 3-4 seconds behind after the full 5

It has little to do with my driving, there are plenty of other cars in my garage that are as fast, but they require a great deal of effort, whereas this doesn't.

EDIT:

I decided to have a go at S10 in a variety of cars, there seems to be a lack of tunes around that cater for the R1 tyre requirement.

So I took your Amuse Shuriken2000 GT1 tune and made some minor adjustments:

Power: -32 -28
Weight: 100% 85%
Tyres: R3 R1
Downforce: 20/35 20/35

Settings:

Suspension:
Ride Height: -1/+1
Spring Rates: 7/4
Damoer: 9/6
Toe: -0.08/+0.06 -0.08/+0.25
Camber: 1.3/0.5 1.3/0.8

Brake Balance: 5/6

Max Turn Angle: 45

All driving aids are up to driver, tuned with all aids off except ABS at 1

Gear Ratios:
1st: 2.697
2nd: 1.819
3rd: 1.408
4th: 1.136
5th: 0.935
6th: 0.781
7th: 0.659
Final: 4.950

The car lacked rear grip and was sliding all over the place on R1s, so I increased the rear toe angle and the rear camber to give it a little more traction out of the corners and it worked a treat 👍 I finished S10 in 1st place with a time of 10'11.9 (Which is my personal best actually).

Glad it worked for you and did exactly what I wanted it to do from day 1 when I set it up, maximum stability to provide maximum drivability for all. It may not be the fastest, but consistency is a big weapon in racing as we all know which is what lead the same car to victory plenty of times online running the other set ups (except the 650PP one which was more for fun then anything else).

It's good to see our tunes getting a good workout from you, and your adjustments would appear at first glance well placed to help it cope on R1 tyres.:) Nice to hear we're helping you set personal bests too.:dopey: Thanks again for the feedback.👍

Just posted my set upo to someone and thought i would see if you posted yours, obviously you have and surprised that your set up is so similar to mine, not surprised at your coming out with this but surprised that mine so nearly matches yours means i was on the right track as Ive similar settings to someeone who produces more set ups for cars than anywhere else, think tonight i will take yours for a spin see if those minor difference make a difference, nice work 👍

Well i know it was a little late, like i said too many things happening keeping me from the seat, I gave your Alfa a quick go, changing the front camber by 0.1 to 1.5 and changing the final ratio from 4.061 to 4.109 and ran about a dozen laps, result quite consistantly running 54.6's with my best in those 12 laps a 1.54.631.

Nice 👍

In other news, since no-one took up my offer previously I have been working on some projects. Namely an RX7 drifter, 350Z drifter and on the side I'm seeing how the RX7 fairs up on the track as well.

Grip may be an overstatement  I ended up home a day early, so I'm without a wheel for now which will slow the process down considerably. Fortunately I did pretty much finish the drifters.

The TLD-R Viper has now been updated and rebranded to LDP-R. Removed the 650PP set up for a more appropriate and useful 700PP set up which has been tried under current rules for 700PP Suzuka. There's an option to have minimum downforce and R2s instead of current medium downforce and R1s, I haven't tested R2s as I like how it feels now. It keeps the characteristics it's always had even with reduced downforce compared to it's other set ups, it remainds outrageously stable and a drop in power means you can't go wrong.

Note: Paulie could you update the link for that one to LDP-R. Also that 650PP is gone, 700 is in.

Edit: I will also look into running R1s and no added downforce.

Awesome, it's a shame it's far slower then the rabbit cars, but I just run it like I'm a GT2 car in a GT1 race and you can get some good mid pack battles as it allows you to run really close to someone safely. It's also a good car for endurance, forgiving, kind to the motor and tyres, if only there was mechanical failure to make the most of it.

Description: When a race series became available in which the Corvette was elligible TLD-R submitted their entry form and began the development cycle. Whilst plagued at first by turn-in issues and top end engine power, we refined the Vette to a competition ready phase. During its first number of races the Corvette performed extremely well, pulling seconds per lap on the competition. Not all good things last though, and some driver consistency issues saw a drop in the success rate of the now revered TLD-R Corvette. After a while things came good again and the Vette is now a consistent front runner of the field. Now the TLD-R setup is available to privateer drivers to take and have some success of their own.

Description: The Lion's Den has reached 500 posts , and to celebrate I am releasing this special edition Ferrari F40. One of the most desired and respected supercars in history, the F40 is a beautiful machine. TLD has tuned it to a point far better than the original in every way. It took a lot of doing to find an F40 that we could actually modify, being such a collectable. We wanted one that had been wrecked so we wouldn't be ruining a mint original, and after a long time of scouring junk yards the world over, we received a call from a disgruntled owner who wrecked his at a track meet and wanted us to take it and give it a better life. Enjoy celebrating 500 replys to TLD, and thanks for all your support so far!

Tracks Tuned For/On:
Fuji
Suzuka

Tuner's Notes:
Shift up at 6000-7000rpm, do not run to the redline as you're making no power there
Be careful on the throttle at the hairpin, unlike the other Ferraris this will spin the wheels there if not cautious
Just be smooth on throttle applications
Shift in the 7,000-7,500rpm range

This updated F40 handles better on Suzuka 700 PP, but for racing you'll need to lengthen Final Drive to allow for drafting, as presently the gearing is set up for time trial.

Any news on the drift RX-7?

And when can I make a request for another drift car?

Seeing as you asked, I'll release it as it is now (within the hour) and you can essentially be a test driver. I'll stick with the normal LDP rule, if you write a full review of one of our cars, you're very welcome to have a request. Don't worry though, the current RX7 is tried and tested by myself and works on the most popular drift spots, the Suzuka esses and Eiger as well as running quite well on Fuji. The gears may be a little off on each different track but thats a compromise of having them right on another track.

Another drift car tailored more for wheel users trying to learn how to go sideways, the Spirit D is a friendly car to drift with combining great balance, lightweight and plenty of grunt. The car is tuned to not bounce off the limiter to much as it is on the popular drift spots, as I find it easier to balance a car which isn't sat on the limiter all the time as it means you can power out of the bends much easier with a little more forward motion. That said as with many drift car, for optimal performance on all tracks the final gear may need adjustments.

Tracks Tuned For/On:

The 6spd close ratio gearbox keeps acceleration ever moving skywards, and the R tyres combined with low weight mean track times stay low.

I'm sorry to undig up this old post. I tried thys setup yesterday for the new Suzuka 700pp event and I liked it a lot and managed to drop my lap times down up to 2'04''xxx.

I just think that the lift-off oversteer is a little bit pronouced for my specific driving style and I'd like to tweak it a little bit in that way. hat do you suggest I should try to change in this great setup in order to achieve that?

Thanks!

Thanks for trying my tune.:) You could try increasing the rear spring rate to 9 or 10 to try and decrease lift-off oversteer, otherwise there's not much that can be done to that tune to help much further.

Edit: I also just updated the ride height and toe settings in my F40.

Excellent beginner drift car, as that is what I am, a beginner drifter.

Easy to pickup, control, and slide through the corners.

Gearing could be worked on, but then again it is one of those track related things that nearly anyone can tweak.

I'd say that for a beginner drifter, this is much easier to drive (for me) than your LDP Z Drifter.

Congrats on the nice tune, I will be using your products to refine my skills further.

And while I'm here I might as well say that your EVO XI Tuned car is superb!

Thanks :) That'll be enough if you fancy making a request, however I am without a wheel for a couple of weeks, so it might not come until I can test and tune using my wheel.
