I think Shift 2 is much better in many things then GT5
There's just one bad thing but you can get used to it.

No current updates on the team yet. If you are meaning any new drifters that the team would be interested in then no, I haven't seen any drifters that stand out from the crowd unfortunately. That does not mean I am still looking for drifters, but I have a feeling that I am looking in the wrong places :indiff: . The problem with simply looking for drifters in GT5's online servers is that most of them haven't heard of :gtplanet: and from the experience that I've had with my own team, they are interested in joining your team the first day, and the second day they do not contact you at all :guilty: . That is why, if you are looking for drifters, then you might as well look for them in the comfort of :gtplanet: .

As an alternative, I'm going to look in the Free Agents Thread and send a private message to any drifter that seems that they would give a good impression for the team. Hopefully they will reply and I will be able to give them a tryout. Sttrobe, if you are reading this, then don't worry; I know what I am doing and I know a true drifter when I see one ;) . I will give you guys another update as soon as possible.

EDIT 1: I have sent a private message to two different members and am currently trying one out right now. They are a close friend of mine that I have been drifting with for a while now, so it's more to see if his drifting skills are still up to scratch.

Yeah one of my friend's mentioned sprags
and I'm currently talking to some other friend's looking for teams and I have Ghost Previous member of TDC and he seems very good. So hopefully if I see what I like we'll have some new drifters in the team soon. :)

Good idea. At least you know if they are on GTPlanet they are genuine and serious about drifting instead of wanting to join a team one day and then be interested in something completely different the next day.

Skating isn't really my kind of thing really. But it would be nice to know what games people in this team have and see if we can play games other than Gran Turismo together. After all, GT5 has become very, very boring.

Maybe we should use Private messages for this just to be on the safe side. After all the administrators and moderators are clamping down on threads particularly one's that are off topic.

The administrators understand that people go off-topic every now and again. It's only threads that are constantly off-topic that get the lock. Technically it wasn't off-topic because I was suggesting something that we could do together in our team.
