Awesome work guys love the tunes.Only problem i'm having is that the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX understeers both at low speed & high speed and doesn't like to turn-in.

Any help solving this would be great.

Cheers Guys

Am gonna do a couple of laps with the Spirra adjustments and see how it goes
This system update takes ages to install, don't think I have enough time for some testing today, maybe during the night but most likely tomorrow morning it gets a new shakedown :)
It didn't half take a while did it:lol:

That's cool, try them when you have the time I hope they help. I'm about to go do the gearbox now, I'll put my new BMW back in its box, that's a fun car that VGT! Something tells me a tune for that ain't too far off;)
I'll make a few runs and see if there's anything else

What tracks have you used it on? I'll have a little look see.

I had a little bit of time for a lap with the adjusted Spirra settings on the Nordschleife. The car has approved on the corner exit where it is way more stable now then before. But the problem with the sliding under breaking and midcorner are still the same. The Nordschleife has a lot of corners where the breakingzone is not straight but rather a bit twisty and has a lot of corners with camber in it. In these corners the car is impossible to drive for me. First it slides under breaking when the breaking zone is straight, when it's twisty the chance is big you will drift trough the corner when you are lucky but most of the time you just spin of track. Also when you are off throttle but also not breaking the car is really nervous midcorner, then it just want's to spin on it's own??
I dont know if it is my particular driving style combined with my control settings ( X for gass and Square for breaking) that causes the issues but it could be since am a bit of throttle and break slammer, with a lot of cars I can go really fast with it, but this one just murders me each corner. Maybe I have to adjust my driving style or something else like the extra weight you put in adjust to another place or just strip it entirely for less power. Or that is has to do with the diff settings (start/accel or breaking) that are incorrect for my kind or driving style. I adjusted the final gear to 3,400 btw it know tops at 203 mph under the last bridge, thats fine for me.
I want to help where I can, I have no clue about tuning, the only thing that I can do is feel differences in car balance. Sorry for me being such a dick about this tune but I have no clue how to get better handling under breaking and in the corner? :nervous:

Don't worry about being a 🤬. I tune the cars to suit my style, unlike some of the other guys who do a real good job making cars easier to drive for everyone. I knew when we started this garage that making the cars suit me would in turn make them worse for others. We all have our own styles and we all like the cars to feel different, that's how it goes. This one does want to kill people though, thankfully unlike the stock version, you now know when it's coming.

It does really require a change of style, I too use the X and square for the throttle and brakes but you do need to be really gentle applying and lifting off the brakes with this car. you could try turning up the ABS settings in your driving options and see if it helps you, but as i said I'll see what else I can do, if it is just the skidding on corner entry you need taken care of that should't be too hard to sort.

Thorin Cain - Used it mainly on the Nordschleife,Spa & Monza.
Had a test at Spa, the only sign of understeer beyond what I'd expect in a 4WD was in the heavy breaking zones before the two mid speed right/left chicanes. I softened the front damper to 4 and increased front breaks to 6 and it's good for me now.

I took this baby for a ride on the Nordschleife today and boy was it FUN to drive, the fastest I did on 550 PP was 6.43  I adjusted the final gear to 2,700 so that I went 320kmh under the bridge at the max. The best lap was not without some minor mistakes so I think a time around 6.37 should be possible! This tune is really well done for my driving style, gonna use this one a lot more in the near future!

Thanks @SuperSic58. It's a strange little car though, PD seem to have the weight distribution backwards and I just went with it. I'm going to be doing another with the proper weight distribution soon, but I'm glad you like it.
Thank you dirty duck for BMW Z4 Coupe tune and thorin cain for honda nsx prototype lm road car. Both amazing tune 👍
Thanks again @romynovanda. Glad these are more to your liking:)

hey TC...
as I've mentioned before - I am a big fan of your tunes... I'm wondering if I can make a request... I'd like to have in my stable the NISSAN XANAVI NISMO Z '06 and the NISSAN Z GT500 Base Model '06
I think they are both pretty similar set ups... however I want to have one tuned by each of my 2 favorite tuners so they both have a little different feel... Would you be willing to tackle the GT500 version???
I'd love it in a 600pp set up with Racing Hards

I typically do time trial stuff with buddies on my racing rig... so fast is great but drivable is probably a little more desirable as my buddies don't have as much practice time as I do... (your other tunes suit all of us really well)
thank you and keep up the great work...
~Ole

(I'm also looking for a taker to tackle the TAKATA DOME NSX but I don't want to get greedy)
:D:tup:

:D:tup:

Hi again @Ole, of course you can make a request. I have already received a request for the Nissan Z GT500 Base model, by @Gcturbo I believe. I have done a little work on it so far but nothing I would call finished as I have been a busy boy doing some testing on the physics model and in particular the camber issues and also doing some alterations to a few of my tunes to help some others have the cars suit their driving styles a bit better.

I have finished work for the day and have the day off tomorrow so I plan on getting myself fed, watered and rolling up the sleeves and getting tuning. I have a couple of oldies I would like to finish up, a Spyker C8 and the Z Base Model to finish up. I am not sure if I have any of the Nissan GT-R GT500 cars but the Base Model of this may be lurking somewhere in my garage I have a feeling that I went round buying up the rest of the Base Models at one point so It may be there. If not I will go fetch the Xanavi one and add it to the list.

As for the Takata Dome NSX, is it the older JGTC car or the newer GT500 version you are looking for. I have The Stealth model of the GT500 and I think the base model too, and I know I have the Loctite Mugen JGTC car which is pretty close to the older Takata Dome. I actually have a semi decent tune for the older one but it is very, very unstable at the moment and I have been meaning to get back to it for a while...now's the time me thinks.

I will get these started as soon as I can but I can't make any promises on a time line, As I said I do have a few other requests already in the pipeline and a couple of them are, well, very naughty and need to learn how to behave which might take a while. I think in total there are about 10-12 cars to be getting on with including your 3 so I will do what I can to get these done in a timely manner.

Thanks again for your kind words and support!

Another GT300 car to add to the collection. Just as competitive as the BRZ and RX-7 from 300 BHP all the way up. The car has bags of grip and plenty of grunt to keep you powering round the track. It's probably the best all rounder of the group,

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

Torque split?
Whoops, my bad. :dunce:

I can't be totally sure right now as I'm not able to get to my PS3 for about another hour of so but if I had to guess I would say there's a fair chance it will be whatever the stock value is, I think 30:70 but possibly 25:75, I tend not to mess too much with the torque split on 4WDs as I am only really just getting my head round the LSD settings for them. I'd try 30:70 first though, for some reason that's what is in my head.

I willl check this for you and get back to you as soon as I can.

Sorry

I'm excited for WHATEVER is next

Enjoy the weekend

Ok, I'll get on it.

Thanks

Hi thorin reading above I can see you are getting snowed under by tunes but...

Last night a car was finally able to beat the clk lm at 650pp and I have never seen someone use this online.

It's the Xanavi nismo GT-R 03.

Hope you can have a look at her at some point but I know you have a few to do :)

I'll be honest. I'm surprised it took so long. The JGTC Nismo's are bloody quick, come to think of it so are the GT500s. I just rarely use them for some reason( Mostly due to NSXs), I'm going to be having a look at the newer version of this anyway, think I'll pick me up one of them too.

Cheers for the heads-up:cheers:

It's funny because the hsv's keep up in the corners but are left for dust on the straights, that nismo destroyed me haha. Look forward to seeing what you come up with :)

great work! the car flies into curves.
I can't believe I missed this post. Thanks a lot for that:cheers:

If you have even half the fun I do in that car you must be loving it. I think it's one of the best cars in the game be sure to use it at various pp, anywhere from stock power to 600pp it just rocks.

The minimum ride height i can reach is 75?

Hmm, how very strange
I just went and bought the car to check it out and you are right. I have had a little exploration of the tune and based on how we usually set up our spring rates match up with the ride height shown.

Set these for 77/83 just now and give it a try, you may need to drop the springs down a bit though. Spring rates to try if they don't work are 8.47/ 4.97 (these would be what we would have got using the higher ride height with the way we do our springs normally.)

I will bring this to @Dirty_Duck's attention, I'm sure there is something weird going on here, I don't think that he would have put in the wrong ride height but it's possible, but having the spring rates to go with them really baffles me.

Possible that this may have something to do with the last update. 💡 I have noticed a few people in the forums say that something had definitely changed in the way the cars handle but no-one is sure what the changes are.

@romynovanda, I've spoke with Dirty Duck and he said it was his mistake. The tune is actually for the Spoon Integra not the Honda one. But If you try out the ride height and springs I have suggested above for the Honda he thinks the rest should still work ok. But if you think the car is too low and too stiff try ride height 82/88 with springs at 7.97/4.68.

Sorry for the confusion, hope this helps.
