Logitech DFGT Force Feedback too strong

One thing I would say... new wheel users should start with a higher FF setting. A higher setting helps you learn to use small and smooth steering inputs by preventing you making big wheel movements.

Even with a 900* wheel you only need to make very small wheel inputs... to make even the tightest corners (such as the 2 hairpins at Indy) you shouldn't need more than 1/4-1/2 a turn of lock... if you find you need more than that you're over loading the front tyres and understeering.

I always played GT5P with my DFGT with FF set at 10, and with the demo i used the same settings.
Well, at the beggining, when i started to play GT5P, i was scare because it was too strong, and i was afraid to break the wheel, but with time i get used i now i think it's week =X

Tried my new DFGT today, seemed fine on 8. Little tiring after a while and effin impossible to correct oversteer. But still fun and alot easier to get a good exit.

Ok, I've had my wheel for about 4-5 days now and finally matched my DS3 time. Really love the FFB now, so I turned it up to 8.

I have a Driving Force GT wheel and believe me, I put it on 1 it felt stupid, I put it on 5 I could not find the spot, I tried 6, nope, then when I tried 7 it felt really nice! It's just my opinion, but I really liked the setting (Power Steer/No Power steer)

believe it or not i never had a chance to play it with my wheel, everyone said it was so nice on the wheel. It was at a point were i was moving (things packed away) and at the same time flat out at work.
Now the wheels setup and ready to roar its expired LOL just my luck, i will take it from comments here and friends that i missed out big time and will have to wait till Nov.

Thats some good tips there Stotty :) 👍

I feel strong FFB compensate for the lack of G-forces, but strong FFB isnt really realistic, anyone who have driven a real car can confirm that.
