Logitech DriveFX with GT5??

Hi guys, I was a drifter on Forza and rFactor with a Logitech DriveFX wheel. Seeing as it plugs in with a USB, I wanted to see if my wheel would work with GT5. Plugged it in, the lights came on, the wheel centered and then turned off. It does this every time.
What I want to know is, is there somebody with the same wheel, or is mine just not compatible or broken? And if its not compatible, is there a way to make it so it is?
Any help would be highly helpful!

Now i don't want to seem blunt but try these..

Plug into different outlet.
plug into different USB port.
Check to see if it even still works with forza.

Besides that i don't know... but i know there is no way to set control for that wheel on GT5 so chances are it isn't compatible.

Yeah, it still works with Forza and my pc.. Guess ill have to get some money saved and get a GT5 one. Thanks anyway man!
