Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel

Yeah, turn wheel on when I get to pick my user then pressing ps button on wheel, that is after i've chosen ps5 on the wheel.

That worked @LOGI_Rich , Thanks
I’ve always turned on my PS5, log in with controller, then power up wheel, and log in using wheel. But I switch back and forth between controller and wheel lots. I don’t like navigating menus and settings using the wheel at all.

If I have a problem in GT7 with my wheel e.g. even when following the instructions above sometimes my FFB is too high (seems like GT7 is not adjusting it back like it should), I turn off the wheel using the button, then turn it back on and reselect it. I do this in the game and it seems to fix the issue immediately without restarting GT7.

Something for the weekend!
The "My first Gran Turismo" demo that should be out tomorrow will give me a chance to try out GT7 and see/feel what you're all experiencing. At 15Gb that's not too bad of a download. Hopefully it'll have full G Pro support.

i recently switched from ps5 to a Gaming pc (acc and gt7 to le Mans Ultimate and ams 2) and i am so dissapointed from the ffb i get from my Logitech g Pro Wheel. No feel für the limit of the car and no pressure when i let the car roll its more Like an better Arcade Game Than Simulation . Does anyone have Settings for the g pro and le Mans Ultimate and ams 2 ? Its so numb and no force in the Center when i Open the car and on the Outside its also weak . Its only Alive when i Hit the curbs + spinning . I ll try Race room maybe its better Supported

They have per car ffb setup and a general ffb setup. Change the car ffb in the car setup( ams2, raceroom).

What do you have the max torque set to in game? That’s what’s being set when you first start the game up.
I have the wheel at 10.5 but in game I have 3. It does not happen every time but quite often and last night very heavy in first race (not a lobby or sports mode) so I paused the game in the first lap, turned off the wheel then back on again and it was as I expected it should be.

I start the PS5, use the controller for first connect, use the wheel for the second connect, then start GT7.

@LOGI_Rich May I ask a quick question?

I recently bought the RS Shifter and love it, in conjunction with my Pro Wheel and Pro pedals.
No longer use my old Driving Force Shifter. I sold it.
I'm left with a Logitech Racing Adapter that I don't use. I want to sell it but before I do; will the Racing Adapter be of any possible future benefit to me? Or was its only purpose enabling backward compatibility with the G generation hardware?

Hi guys , does anyone have some issue with F1 24 on the ps5 with the g pro wheel? Last week it worked perfectly and now it’s unplayable ( Loss FFB and sometimes the wheel goes to the right and left brutally).

I haven't done any testing with settings for a while, probably going back a couple of gt7 updates. I made 1 small change that improved the wheel 200%. Changed in game ffb sensitivity from 2 to 1. Seems like a small.change bit the impact is enormous. Can't believe the difference in how i can feel the tires and weight transfer. I do have to adjust the torque levels up. I'll be adjusting the settings sheet soon.

Do you have the loss of FFB in other games or just F1 24?

Followed this advice and also used the recommended settings posted above directly from the Logitech site.. Felt a lot smoother, at least for me although not sure I can compare to anything else as this is my 1st DD wheel set up. AC is soo much fun, again not had a proper chance to test on console/GT7 but on PC, it's bloody brilliant. Sim racing with the right gear is a lot of fun.
@Shah1 AC is such a great game. If you get a chance, get rFactor 2 and BTCC pack when their on sale, it's the best FFB I've felt with the G Pro, and I didn't need to change any of the default settings.

I'll look into it. I just set up my PS5 Pro so getting GT7 dialled in, although feels very different to AC on PC. Downloaded a trial for The Crew Motorfest just for a bit of fun and also purchased EA Sports WRC on PC which I think I'll enjoy. So many games to play but difficult finding time to actually improve at racing lol.

@LOGI_Rich

I noticed on this video at 15:15 that the LED's on the wheelhub flash just before the redline.

On my PS5 they don't do this, not for ACC, GT7, WRC, DR2. I'd really like the flashing, it would make it easier to shift at exactly the right time!

Is the LED "flash" implemented by the game developers or by the g-hub firmware?

I'm sure I have the latest G-Hub firmware on my base.

Does it still happen if you take the controller out of that sequence? It's really not needed if you're only racing.
It's the same issue I've mentioned repeatedly. Online lobbies, I have to correct it constantly which can be difficult on the fly sometimes. You know when its happening because instead of going back and forth from 1080 to the specific angle of the car, like 540-560 for most GT3 cars. It goes 900 to the angle of the car.

It's a real thing, it's terribly frustrating. So far no solution I know of.

Yep, but it didn't look like he tested it, so he wouldn't know any different and possibly made assumptions based on what he was getting from the G29 :-)
Having the Trueforce set to 0 is questionable and I'm not saying he's right about that but he's not using a G29, he's using a Thrustmaster TGT 2. I also really don't want to have to turn Trueforce down/off as having it played a part in my decision to buy the G Pro.

Trueforce aside, the main reason for posting was to get other opinions on his take on the in-game controller steering and force feedback sensitivity settings. His previously advised settings before the physics update seemed to work well for me but these new in-game settings are entirely different.

I'm just trying to get the best out of my G Pro and eliminate any in-game settings adversely affecting its feedback/performance.

Hi LOGI_rich, it’s been 2 weeks now that i have some problems with the g pro wheel on F1 24 on the ps5 pro, Even with the patch who came out today it’s unplayable ( loss ffb on the corner and the wheel moves from right to left itself). Am i the only one who have this problem? ( the wheel works perfectly with gt7 and F1 23.

Oscillation is expected in F1 - both it and GT7 use a very strong centre spring effect and if the torque on the wheel or in-game is set high then it will cause oscillations.

A loss of FFB on corners is something that a few people have reported with various wheels in F1 24. The obvious things I would check there are:
  • Is it present in all modes (multiplayer, time trial, offline GP)?
  • Always on the same corners?
  • Are you using a custom car setup and, if so, is it one generated with an earlier patch? If so then try creating a new setup.
  • Do you run with all assists off?
The obvious thought when someone says they're losing FFB in a corner is that they're going in too hot and locking up the front wheels, at which point the FFB will go light, so more context/explanation outside of the above questions would be great. Remember they made a lot of changes to the handling and physics in 24, so what applied to 23, doesn't necessarily apply to 24.

Thanks for the response LOGI_rich

- yes it’s present in all modes

- and yes i loss FFB always in the same corners on différents tracks.

- I’m not using any custom car setup

- yes i run with all assists off.
Before they released a patch 2 weeks ago ( more or less) it works perfectly and i don’t change anything.
Today i tested F1 24 on the Xbox séries x and the same problem.
Thanks again for the answer
