Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel

What wheels can the RS QR Pro be used with? Is there a compatibility list available from Logitech? I asssume the wheels need independant USB connection to PC?
Per Logitech’s website: “The RS QR Adapter supports 2.75 in (70mm) & 2 in (50.8mm) PCD aftermarket steering wheels.” So any wheel matching those bolt patterns will work. Note if you want controls on the wheel you’ll need a wheel with USB connection. Adapter does not support any consoles natively.

Corsair + Fanatec

Dear Fanatec Customer,

I am delighted to announce that Fanatec has joined the CORSAIR family. CORSAIR was founded 30 years ago and is a California-based manufacturer of PC Components and Gaming Peripherals for the gaming enthusiasts.

Fanatec will operate in a similar way to SCUF and Elgato within the CORSAIR family – it will continue to develop and launch products its world-class product range from the current headquarters in Landshut, Germany.

I know you have questions; I wanted to send a letter to answer some of them for you. Firstly, I want you to know that CORSAIR is committed to Sim Racing, the community, and creating great products. There are things at Fanatec that we want to help improve, and I assure you, these are top of our list.

These include:

  • Customer Service / Speed of Delivery
  • Warranty
  • Software Updates
What does this mean for Customer Service/Speed of Delivery?

We know the some of the community are not happy about the current state of Customer Service. I get this – I hear you; we are committed to improving this, we want you to have the support you need should something go wrong. We run a global support and logistics operation, and we will be integrating Fanatec into this, giving you better service and more transparency.

What does this mean for my warranty?

CORSAIR will honour all existing Fanatec warranties. Customers should still reach out to the Fanatec team directly for support via their Fanatec accounts. Our priority is to ensure prompt resolution of warranty issues during this transition of ownership and of course provide continuous improvement of customer support.

What does this mean for Software Updates?

We are used to running a company that has both software and hardware elements – CORSAIR, Elgato, and SCUF all have these needs. We also know that people don’t always get it right. That’s where we will be stepping in and making things better. It won’t be perfect straight away, but I am committed to ensuring we improve this over time.

What does this mean for Fanatec going forward?

Overall, Fanatec joining the CORSAIR family means that CORSAIR’s expertise and resources will enhance the Fanatec product lineup and make significant improvements to the logistics and customer service. Global availability of Fanatec products will also expand through CORSAIR's extensive channels. As I have said, Fanatec and its customers will benefit from CORSAIR’s world-class support, including warranty and software updates.

We are incredibly excited about this new chapter for Fanatec, and we would like to thank the community for its continued support. All of us at CORSAIR are committed to raising the brand to new heights and we look forward to sharing this bright future with you!

@motoman617 you’ll find the Trueforce options under the rest of the force feedback settings in the game - keep scrolling down. If you can’t see them then you need to update the firmware of the wheel base on a PC (you’ll need the original wheel to do this).

The RPM LEDs were broken in update 12 - Turn 10 are aware of it.
Thank you Rich.

I updated to the latest firmware yesterday before installing the new hub. I'll have another look a bit later and try a couple of other racing games on the Xbox and post my findings. Since I didn’t see any rpm LED’s in the WRC game either I was thinking it was something on the Xbox side of things. Will investigate more.

Wrong thread?

Just to update, I also tried F1 23, WRC and Assetto Corsa on the Xbox and the RPM LED’s on the hub did not work in any of these games either.

So does the Simagic GT Neo wheel work with the Logitech RS QR Adapter? I can't locate any info in the bolt pattern on the Simagic GT Neo wheel

If the new handbrake/sequential-shifter a G-series product, does that mean there's going to be a Pro-series shifter/handbrake in the future?
Never spotted this and just ordered one, I'm guessing/hoping the quality will just be as good as anything in the Pro range, but it's compatible with the G Series wheel so categorised as this?

That is interesting that it’s listed as G Series. It’s as compatible with the G series as the Pro Pedals are.

It’s not a G series product, but a Racing Series product and we believe the quality speaks for itself 😀

@motoman617 on Xbox games have to support Trueforce in order to support RPM LEDs, because the standard Xbox wheel spec doesn’t support them. F1 24, Dirt Rally 2.0, ACC and Forza motorsport (once they patch it again) all support them.

Thanks Rich, I will try Dirt 2.0 later tonight and I think I bought ACC a long time ago and will just have to reinstall it.

Just and update from above. I did have ACC so I installed and tried it and the RPM LED’s did work in it. Don’t like whatever the default setting are so I will have to play with those. No experience with this game so I just need to find some settings to start with and go from there.

Thanks to Rich for taking time out of his weekend to answer my questions.

Anyone wanting for to use non logitech pedals, shifters or hand brakes on console will need to buy the drive hub. I personally choose to go with CSL Elite V
Ok...I'll do the best I can. Seems to happen most prevalently in lobbies. So I actually feel the difference first, FFB is different, weight of the wheel, wheel is more jumpy and less subtle detail with the tires. However, the most obvious difference is that the steering input is off between the physical wheel and the car.

When this happens I check the base and Everytime to default angle goes to 900 from 1080. If I adjust it persists. I can switch to a different on wheel profile that fixes this but temporarily. I can back out restart and it fixes...today I was in GT3 porche on hard/ med/soft tires..
Ok @LOGI_Rich I'll clarify more....as I am trying prepare for a series and it's persists.

Wheel acting perfectly....I kept controller off so only the wheel connected to the PS5...to avoid any potential USB etc related issue.

Then update lobby settings and the car is oversteering, wheel is slightly heavier but not as precise...mainly car oversteers and FFB is less nuanced. Pause...check wheel and it's gone back to 900 mode...if I try to change it to 1080 it keeps going back to 900.

When wheel is working right it defaults to 1080 and adjust when on track. When it defaults to 900 even when it adjust again on track it's not right.

Hi, new here, made an account to vent about the current state of the G Pro Wheel in GT7, I am so angry and dissapointed, not even sure who to be angry at, but the wheel was perfect before patch 1.49. Then, total ass, (Yes I have tried setting trueforce to 150 ingame and 100 on wheel, yes I have tried the millions of recommendations on changing DD strenght to 10 ingame and sensitivity to 1 etc etc etc)

The point is, I have paid over 3K on getting all this gear and its totally thrown in the trash over a dumb software update on GT7 which I have no control over?

I have been patiently waiting for almost 2 months now assuming somebody would realise its a **** show, I see threads with thousands of views with hundreds of messages of people complaining, and people basically settling for settings that feel "not that bad"... Thats just not good enough.... I am not even sure who to be angry at but I am extremely pissed off at the current state of the situation

-----
Edit: Also, I don't buy that its all in Polyphonies hands, Logitech could just amplify the trueforce output, you could literally multiply it by 5 of what ever the game is giving the wheel, my girfriend's crappy 2$ durex vibrator vibrates more than when I go 150KPH over rumble strips on my 1000$ sim racing wheel base. If you are worried about not knowing what game the wheel is attached to, make it customizable in the driver, or let us create named profiles (Like if we create a profile for the wheel called "GT7 MAX" for example, amplify that **** and fix it yourself

Yup works great. I posted earlier with some pics. It has to plug into the PC directly and you need Simagic software but that's to be expected. It was less than 2 pages back :)

If I entered the lobby then it never goes back to the 1080....so I can't fix issues without blowing up the lobby

Ordered the stupid driving force shifter (used to have one) and the adapter. I’m so annoyed honestly, but I want an h shifter. I thought for sure a “pro” h shifter was in the cards so I’m Genuinely very surprised we didn’t get one. Sure this gets the job done I was just hoping for something more premium and console compatible.
Why didn't you buy a Fanatec with a drive hub?
