Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a G PRO.

I start my tests to find the best feeling.

Unfortunately, I would not have any experience prior to update 1.49.

I wanted to thank all the contributors who shared their settings, here or on the "Trueforce" thread :

@gt3guy @Marky264 @Talon16 @LOGI_Rich @Dan_Tes @hawkeyez @Pzynen @frameworkrock @Rombbb @Bass Addict @notarjy @GRT_Joka @Nigrick @Sturdy @Oshawa-Joe

Knowing that Logi_Rich is more active on this thread, I publish here a summary table of thirty shared settings (only for GT7).

The Google Sheet spreadsheet is open for editing.

If you wish, you should be able to complete or modify it.

Hi Nico.
Congrats on your purchase, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Sheet updated with the values I use

I bought 2 RS hub PC in anticipation of strengthening the ecosystem (Momo wheel, MPI...).
They come with boards of Playstation stickers.
I don’t think I’ll use it.
The position of the buttons is quite intuitive, and on Gran Turismo, the original mapping is ergonomic. In a few minutes, you find your marks.
Playstation compatibility is included in the database.
Using a PC HUB on a PS base, you have double compatibility.
Using a HUB X Box on a PS base, you have triple compatibility.
From this, I think the demand for an RS Hub Playsation would be too small.

Thank you for completing your settings 👍

@Sprotacus
I made a mistake on your alias, my apologies, I corrected it
No worries buddy 👍

I'm now going through the process of adjusting my settings after the last update and revised advice of the Sim Action Clips YouTube channel. l found the advised pre-update GT menu settings worked well and they are now completely different. Would be good to hear what everyone else thinks...

Is the extreme wheel oscillation with high downforce cars (e.g., Gr.1 & 2) only present with the G Pro wheel? Has anyone tried other wheels like Fanatec to see if it's the same?

This problem is making the game so much less enjoyable.

Hi guys , does anyone have some issue with F1 24 on the ps5 with the g pro wheel? Last week it worked perfectly and now it’s unplayable ( Loss FFB and sometimes the wheel goes to the right and left brutally).

Vibration strength to 0 ? That means no more Trueforce effects.

It is clear that he didn't have the G Pro wheel in mind... am I wrong ?

I've not tested enough to say whether or not having the Trueforce effects at 0 does provide more feel or feedback.

On first testing, the updated in-game FFB settings did seem to improve the feel but at this stage I just wanted to share to see what everyone thought. His previous settings worked for me before the last physics update so definitely worth checking out.

A quick scan of the video shows that none of his testing involved a wheel that makes use of the Vibration function - remember G29 is not a Trueforce-capable wheel - so setting vibration to 0 has no effect anyway.

I really wish PD would sort that out. Took the Nissan at lemans and I could barely hang onto the wheel down the straights, weird part is, if you sway back and forth it doesnt do it.

They don’t have downforce correct at all. I was in a car on comfort tires, upped the downforce some, suddenly my steering was a lot heavier. It wouldn’t make that much of a difference. It’s like they’ve directly programmed downforce to wheel weight. Here I thought it was the tires making the difference mostly but it’s downforce. I noticed it immediately, I wasn’t even driving that fast.

I could put a huge front spoiler and rear wing on my car and drive around the block, I ain’t gonna to feel my steering get way heavier aglow speeds.

Anyway it feels directly correlated with downforce. Like aero adjustments aren’t affecting car physics but FFB weight. Still a good game but somebody at pd needs to work that out.

Ok. For my part, I'll try his settings... except for the vibration strength.

Yep. But the G923 is Trueforce capable and he mentioned it (the wheel not Trueforce)... even if Trueforce on that wheel is rather a gimmick than a true feature. 🙃

Is it normal to experience what felt like a cogging sensation when turning the wheel. Happened when playing EA Sports WRC for the first time today. I've not done much with the settings but strange I felt this on a DD wheel, something very similar to the belt/gear driven bases from my past.

Im using the G-Pro wheel since it came out. All good, just some minor stuff like the leather wearing out a bit at 3 and 9 o‘clock because of intense using. I always have to adjust the wheel setups before the first drive in GT7 otherwise it will start on some kind of basic setup which is undrivable. Don’t know if there are also other people having this issue. It’s not dramatic so all good. The only complain is the lack of additional hardware. Yeah we got the handbrake/sequential shifter and some other options that are on the PlayStation not very attractive but man cmon. Why do we have a clutch if we cannot use it with proper hardware. You have to be kidding to use the old H Shifter with the adapter on a pro wheel. It’s hilarious. So again if someone is here from Logitech: What is the clutch for ? :) seriously!

@Shah1 If it’s on PC/PS then do look at the settings - you’ll note that there’s two tyre slip and engine settings in there. You want to knock the top two down to zero because they can be rough. The lower two use Trueforce so they’re more detailed.

TF Audio, TF Torque and FFB Torque. Have to change it and then set it back where it was. So just go +1, press ok, and then change it back otherwise the setup that it starts on it’s completely broken. It feels like all the mentioned setups are set on max.
Set the wheelbase TF to 100, and Torque to 11, and avoid changing after starting up GT7. Only make adjustments in game. For example, I'll adjust max torque in game anywhere from 2 for racecars to 7 for roadcars on comfort tires. Hopefully that solved the problem.
