Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel

@EricTheActor the US store is back up and running now, along with Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Finland and Austria.
Unsure why my responses get missed these days by you Rich. Sorry if I have caused offense in the past. You have provided very helpful posts to all of us here so unsure if my feedback for being disappointed that McLaren Rims were not unveiled in the beginning. As mentioned I have been very excited by the new Momo Rims and I'm just trying to Join in on the discussion.

I mean, last year sim wasn’t present in the Logi Play announcements; two years ago when we launched Pro Wheel and Pedals, we very much were.

This year?

Logi_RICH, my wheel makes a slight creek when turning the wheel from left to right. I take off the wheel itself and turn the shaft and get the same noise. It’s coming from inside the box… sounds like a high pitched squeak. With long sessions, and things warming up (fan kicking on, etc) it squeaks more prevalently. Any idea of a simple fix?

That is a sharp looking wheel! And great setup! I like your wind simhub? setup! I always run a fan, it’s a must for me, but obviously I’m missing out on the speed relation. Your setup looks like it’s high quality.
- Wind simulator extreme from simracelabs, configured on simhub.

- 2 buttkicker pro on either side near the seat, feedback for engine RPM/gearshifts (angle and even how tight you screw it on makes a massive difference in feedback)

- 1 buttkicker plus underneath the pedals (road vibration/impacts)

- Simagic pedal HPR on brake and throttle

I race only in VR and when everything comes together the immersion is great. Can’t wait to try the F3500-A!

Hi @LOGI_Rich - another question for you. I've noticed when playing GT7, if I've set TrueForce to 0, it will still work when playing for the first time. If it is on and I adjust up or down, TrueForce will stop all together. Only when I turn the wheel off and back on and GT7 restarted, will the wheel settings revert back with TrueForce turned on. Not sure if this is normal behaviour?

You guys think the Logitech / McLaren partnership will spawn anything anytime? Right now it seems like a waste tbh.
Was just watching a F1 24 highlights reel and saw the Logitech logo on top of McLarens actual F1 wheel. Almost forgot about that.

Well we've waiting a while now for additional products so with these recently released I highly doubt they'll pack in any more releases in Q1/Q2. Logi Rich did mention this is Just the start so that is encouraging.
Never know with Logitech tbh but we did wait nearly two years for these so I'd just say to be prepared to sit tight. I do agree it's a partnership that is exciting but is a tad under utilised and one personally I have been waiting on and would love to see sooner than later.

Still can't order the MOMO Wheel in the UK currently so having some rather large fomo over here 😭

I thought for sure that McLaren line was going to come to fruition.

This is just my pure speculation on 2025 Logi gear… I think we will see a new Logitech shifter as many have asked for and pointed out. I also think they may fill the gap in the wheel base lineup. With the recent interest in sim they may go for a $400-500 direct drive 5nm sleek design which would be highly profitable. I think they would crush sales right away. I’m obviously staying with the pro, but this direction makes sense for them this year.

@Marky264 it's more a case of not having anything to say than ignoring you - sorry if it appeared that way. The UK store will come back but I don't have a date for that at the moment.

@Dylan0990 I've replied to your PMs

@Shah1 It's the same situation as with the torque - GT7 sets its own value at startup. In this case it's the vibration setting in the game, which also controls the Trueforce Audio level. My advice - don't turn it off, just turn it down.

Hi there. Long time reader first time poster. 😂

I know this is probably not the thread to ask this question and I looked for a dedicated thread that was active but there wasn't one so I'll try here because @LOGI_Rich might be able to help.

A guy I work with just bought a g923 and is trying to set it up. It connects to his PS5 and calibrates (even in the controller menu it works fine and calibrates the pedals...) but when he jumps in a race in gt7 the wheel does not work. He says the pedals do and the shifters and all the buttons but not the wheel itself. He's searched online a bit and has not found a solution.

I do apologize for asking here but also, if anyone has any advice or suggestions that I can pass along I would greatly appreciate it.

He's somewhat a Luddite (even more than I am) so that's why I'm here asking for him.

Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

Hi there. When you say calibrates, do you mean that it spins left/right/centre when you connect it?

If not then the wheel’s power supply isn’t connected, so steering and force feedback won’t work.

If it does spin when you connect it then make sure that he’s running the PS5 version of GT7. There was a known bug with running the PS4 version on a PS5 where the steering wouldn’t work.

Yes it spins fine on startup and has force until he tries to use it in game, then the pedals and all the buttons work but nothing at all from the wheel itself. I will pass along your advice!

Thank you Rich. This place is lucky to have you.

Edit. Definitely PS5 version.

No need to apologise, appreciate the response Rich!

No problem patiently waiting this side. I got a 15% Code come through over email from Logitech G while I've been waiting so hopefully when the UK Store is back online I can use it against the Momo Rim 😎

Is the UK Logitech site actually going to be selling the Momo rims? On the US site, for the GT 320, it redirects you to Momo’s site if you want to buy it.

@330_D Definitely 100% PS5 version? Does it have the PS5 lozenge next to the name when you highlight it on the PS5 home screen?

Also, how about other games? If it's definitely the PS5 version then three other things to check:

1. Check the G923 to see if it has a mode switch on it - newer models have the PS5, PS4, PC mode switch on them - and try changing which PS mode it's on.
2. Uninstall GT7, making sure there's not a stray PS4 version also still present, and then reinstall just the PS5 version.
3. Try the My First Gran Turismo demo from the PSN store and see if that's working.

@tinyman392 the plan is for the MOMO wheels to eventually be sold directly from our site as well.

He got it from Amazon with an extended warranty. I think he's already got another coming... I will message him this morning and pass along your advice, however.

I don't believe he found that it was def the PS5 version in the console but he did go to the ps store and sent me this screenshot:

Again, thank you Rich for your help.

It's exceedingly unlikely to be a faulty wheel, but testing in other titles will confirm that. Definitely check that lozenge on the home screen - that's where it really tells you which version you're running.

I forgot one other thing to try - make sure the wheel is only connected to the PS5 once you're at the "Press the PS button" screen.
