Hi, I created the thread for the Logitech Wheel users to share their thoughts and troubles.

Here's my thoughts.
Well, after owning both G25 and G27 Wheels. They both screwed up on me, G25 Shifter went bad.. G27, The pedals went spazzy. Only having both wheels for roughly about 4 years, 2 years each. I got a lot of wheel time behind them, and experienced a lot of glitches. Over all my thoughts are, is the wheel is fairly priced, and you get decent time out of them, but i wouldn't recommend it who will be using it alot.

Here's my problem:
My pedals are screwed completely, brake pedal puts 50% input into the Accel, and Clutch does nothing. Accel has no input either. Mind you this all happened after cleaning the Potentiometers for the sticky throttle issue. Wiring is all correct, and the circuits and contact tabs are perfectly fine in the potentiometers. So do you guys have an idea of whats going on?

P.S If you have trouble with your wheel, don't even bother contacting Logitech, i've been there and done that. They don't assist you in any way, you won't get offered any technical support, spare parts or repairs. You will have to source this via 3rd Party. Essentially disabling you from console support due to the lack of software support for NON-OEM Parts.

To Wheel Buyers,

The common faults for the Logitech G25, and Logitech G27:
H-Shifter stops working (G25)
Sticky throttle issue (G25 and G27)

I found one problem with GT5 & my G27. When playing GT5, using the clutch & H shifter, when your in 2nd gear, the cars will sometimes go into neutral. This problem is caused because 4th gear can be activated in the 2nd gear slot. But I do love the G27 wheels still.

This problem is due to the sensor in the shifting mechanism getting a bit loose. I tried to fix it, but it just persisted after another few days of racing. So I gave up and got a TH8 for PC. Now I'm getting a T500 to use that TH8 on PS3.

Just remember that you're gonna have a problem of sticky pedals with pots. That's just life. Hopefully Mr. Bodin and Mr. Basher (I think those are their names) can get Hall Effect sensor mods for the pedals. Those would be incredible and way better than pots.

You do know Logitech sells spare G27 Shifter for 30 bucks on their site? There's a guy in the US who sells used and repaired pedals for G27 on Ebay. According to Chilicoke, the 25 and 27 pedals are interchangeable.

I <3 you. No homo

I've had my g27 for over a year now, the reverse switch went out in the shifter, and the mount for the position sensor came loose, reeking havoc on calibration. Fixed both myself. Still works like a charm otherwise.
Odd your are having issues with their customer service. Both times I've contacted them, I've gotten a reply back within 24 hours. Only issue I had was that they didn't have a replacement wheel to send me, which is why I fixed it myself.
