last time i saw anything on the g27 it was a sneek peak that was quickly taken down from the website we found it on.

the price they state of over £300 is very steep


i'm buying a gt5 driving force pro because i'm not a serious gamer because of the price

£229 more than a G25 for gear change indicators?... hmm, maybe not for me! Looks very nice though.

p.s. You'll be very pleased with the DFGT. Don't expect it to take seconds off your laptime straight away though or you'll be sorely dissapointed.

The DFGT is great, the only compromise i think i made was giving up a clutch and H-pattern shifter. Still, it adds a lot to the game.

Like Sivers said, don't expect to be uber pro from the start, it will take some time to get used to it but it is well worth it and it will be tough to back to a controller for racing games.

I freaking love my DFGT it added so much re playability to this game for me, At first i was like meh this game is getting old and boring with a controler, then i went to best buy.com to look at the DFGT reviews 4.3 across the board almost hitting 5 stars,...So i bit the bullet went to best buy, Bought a DFGT and was shocked, The difference Was night and day. This game only truely come's to life on a wheel. i have driven on a G25 before and i have to say the Guys at sim racing tonight were right, DFGT is almost comparable to the G25 they all most feel the same. Except when it comes to peddles.

Over all, With a DFGT, i pretty much will never need a new wheel again.


edit" it's also nice to see that Logitech put Granturismo 5 prolouge is compatible, Last i saw with the G25 it just said Playstation 2 and playstation 3 compatibility.

well i would say G25 > DFGT
if you can look around im sure you could find a g25 the same price as the dfgt if you look in the right places once the g27 releases.

Was hoping for around £199. Was gonna wait for this for GT5 but might punt for the G25 based on this info.

How low d'you think online retailers will go with the G27 by the end of the year? £280 maybe?

official danish prices atm from logitech:

US (g25) 517 (g27) 498
euro (g25) 362 (g27) 349

Though the stores sell g25 for US 258 , Euro 181 atm....

So hard to predict the actual store price here. No shops have put it up for preorder or anything, xept ofc logitech.

It seems odd that the G27 is launched at a cheaper price than the current official Danish G25 price from logitech
