Logitech G29 wheel and Logitech driving force shifter won't connect

I just bought a Logitech G29 wheel and a Logitech Driving Force Shifter, and I tried to connect them to Gran Turismo 7 for ps5. I went into the options to steering controller settings and it keeps saying "no steering controllers are connected", but when I push the ps5 button on the wheel, it will bring up the ps5 menu so clearly it's connected in some way. Tried unplugging the power, usb from ps5, brakes, shifter, still won't recognize it. Any advice? Thanks

I have a G923 wheel and same shifter. I have it plugged into the front of my PS5.
Maybe try plugging it in a different port.
