This is something I really enjoy, particularly because I live in so cal an Long beach is a easy drive-to. They are making it hard for me to resist..

I wonder how accurate they got with the side business's haha.

Like I said, I've been trying to hold off on purchasing the game.. I might end up getting it sooner then I want, looks like I'll be purchasing the car pass as well. Good to see this is free, though, I dont care to much about the car pack. Atleast thats free as well.. Cant complain about more cars.

I hope this trend of free tracks continues, I don't want handouts but releasing tracks like this allows them to be relevant offline and online in the game for everyone. I will gladly pay for car packs if we continue to get track packs for free.

I think the strategy of season pass only cars with the track packs is a good idea too, it helps sell season passes and funding track creation.

The actual beach used to be quite dirty, I wonder if they modeled that in.

The first detail that stood out to me is the huge ship. I remember seeing that while in Florida! The attention to detail on the road is insane especially all those little marker lights. Just wow.

The Queen Mary is what you're referring to, Ive always wanted to check that out. Theres also a lighthouse right off the coast, I wonder if thats modeled in. To bad about the night transitions, because the lighthouse changes colors throughout the night.

I'm just flat out geeked that we have a true city course. Yesterday, I rewatched the IndyCar race in St. Petersburg, and while the course wasn't much to look it, it looked like an absolute blast to drive.

COTA would be great, but unlike the others that were sourced as being scanned by Smart Geometrics/MS, that one was credited to a BADNED hint which could mean anything with him. So, not getting my hopes up for it, but would be terrific. Curious as to what kind of time span we could expect these. We got Road America in Feb., & now Long Beach in April, so perhaps June for another?

Don't expect Long Beach to be the last track released for Forza Motorsport 5, either.

They did nice work, have been to the races there a few times. 👍
There is no way to describe the Indy Cars' echo you hear off the buildings.
You don't hear it, you feel it, it goes right though you.

Can't remember the exact quote, but Dan Greenawalt himself said "I can't announce anything for now but it's definitely not the last", or something to that regard.

I know it's the same old whine but I really wish GT would take a page out of Forza's book. Roughly 50 cars as DLC and free tracks and what has GT6 given us in comparison? not even worth mentioning. Great track for free can't wait and I'm especially excited to see a new 'Ring track, the old one on Forza always looked so dull.
