So, one day I'm checking the new posts at our beloved forums.gtplanet.net and reading what ZeroCool, Josh, Pako, Jordan, Tazz, ViperConcept, Magic, Nocturnal, Tom, Stealth, persistance, viper maniac, vat man, GVX, Talentless, various others and myself are a ranting about in what (at the time) were just a few modified threads at a time.

Then I look up and see that there are nearly 80 modified threads every six hours, and everyone talking in these threads ... I've never heard of. WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE AND WHERE DID YOU COME FROM!?!

LoudMusic I have felt the same way. I used to come in here everyday and find maybe 2 or 3 new threads. I didnt mind. I knew everybody in the little community we had. Suddenly I come back one night and the site has changed. I was suprised and happy. The next day we had a lot more members show up. Then more then more then WAY more! Now I come in to GTP and see like 20 new threads and/or so many people posting it is hard to remember where a thread is. I in no way hate all the newbs coming in but dang I didnt expect such a sudden change. Although I miss the "old" GTPlanet with all the members you stated I will adjust to this one soon enough. :( :)

Man, I remember a time when I could read every post (not including that damn 'how many replies can we get' thread), and still have time to race some GT3. Now ... I can't read 10% of the posts, and I never get to game! What's wrong with this world? The games are always supposed to come first, then the talk.

well the GTF has got to a point where the same thread can go un touched for an hour at peak times, it wasnt like that when i joined, only in recent months (say 2) it has been like that.

Would that be ... tripple time?

I'm not complaining about the influx of new members, it's rather cool actually. Fresh blood and all ... but it just comes as a bit of a shocker.

Well, if everyone here can obey the rules , then I don't see any need for overtime...:P You all had better obey 'em, cause I don't have the time for overtime, let alone double overtime...:D

All the new people is a good thing, but it has made me post less, because there's all these unfamiliar people in the audience. Give me a couple months, and I'll be back to my prolific best, but for now I'm just sussing people out! :)
 
We're a decent bunch...until someone says they have a CLK-GTR or McLaren F1 in their GT2 garage.

I hope Kenji gets the site back up so the GTF'ers can leave :P Some of them like Monsoon and Demio Man make some sweet challenges and I welcome everyone but GET OOT OF MY HOOSE :P
 
:lol: I am laughing cause before I even get a chance to even see this thread, its already got close to 20 posts in it.

Were as something like this would have like 4-5 posts in it. I remember when I made thread about me never having a thread on fire. (over 20 posts= :fdevil: ) But now... give your thread a night, its at 30 in no time!

Love the new members, just feel like I am missing out sometimes. :D

Just for that, I might fix up one buggar of a race, just to see how good all the GTP regulars are at pit strategy and racing on worn tires. Then we'll see if you're still screaming about a hoose. btw, wtf is a hoose anyway? ;)
 
just remember the little hide away that the gtf'ers cant get into !! if you need to have a gtp meeting about these guys taking over or trying to !! take it to the private thread ;) were we can discuss tactics for ousting them out :P :P ojk guys

Same here. I just haven't posted alot lately. Its made me drop to third on the top posters for the month. I need to change that soon.

don't know what i missed but what is GTF?
 
GTF is the name for the granturismo.com forums located at http://forum.granturismo.com

Most GTFers have come to the GTP because the GTF is supposedly going to be going down, and the GTFers need a place to go. Most have decided to permanently leave the GTF, such as me, and never return to it, even if it does go down then come back up.

The place has become a hell hole plain and simple.
