Hi I'm looking for some info about a skeleton that was found in or around Russia,or by Russians a few years ago.
I'm not sure what or when it happened, but I believe this finding(s) raised questions regarding evolution,and/or whether humans are a separate species to animals etc.
I'm wondering if this is it:http://www.theguardian.com/science/2013/oct/17/skull-homo-erectus-human-evolution
I remember hearing that it was much older than any human remains found before, but I may be wrong.
Any help would be cool.:)

And how would one minor piece of evidence succeed in that? For one thing we are a separate species. If you mean from a separate evolutionary line then no, it didn't, apart from possibly among creationists and who cares what they say about evolution? They believe it doesn't happen and would deny it even if God appeared and said 'Nope, science is right, I just kicked it all off'.

Sorry, I should really just ask you to clarify exactly what you mean. :dopey:

Do you mean the Denisova hominins? That's the only taxonomically distinct humanoid group I'm aware of being discovered recently aside from Homo floresiensis.
