Looking for a race: Thursday 1st Sept 9pm?

hi all,

i'm looking for a race as i'm free thursday nights, anyone know of any races going? ideally one with 30+ laps and pitstops etc...

if there's none going, would anyone be interested in 50 laps around Monaco? 550pp? aids optional

Dunno if you might be interested, I was thinking of holding an hour-long race tomorrow night. Road cars, 450PP, comfort soft tyres. Huge fun.

I'm interested too, although can't tell whether i can make it tomorrow or not as of yet (i'll keep you guys update anyway!)

Anyway, i suggest using:
- up to Sports Medium tyres
- Tyre/fuel wear set to on
- No Boost
- all aids off, ABS = optional
- damage set to Heavy*
- max BHP and min Weight limit (instead of PP limit)
- Engine tuning allowed in order to reach BHP limit if you'd like (but obviously not exceeding!)
- sports suspension allowed
- full racing transmission allowed
- no aero parts allowed
- no chassis reinforcement allowed
- no LSD upgrade allowed
- use of headset strongly advised


* Damage should be set to Heavy, which promotes clean driving even more and makes the race more realistic. Besides, lap numbers is high, so anything can happen in case you sustain heavy damage (in other words: there is enough time for you to pit in, repair damage and slowly getting up to the other drivers)

I was thinking around 6pm.

I've run lobbies to 450PP, CS tyres several times, with good turnouts within 15 minutes. They've only been 10-15 minute races though, but with really good racing and great variety of cars. Since there's no way to regulate specific tuning, I only specify non-racing cars, with the PP and tyre limits, and no aids. Penalties off, since they're not really necessary (and you avoid the annoying ghosting of cars), and damage light (though if we all want it, I'm okay with heavy).

Another reason I like 450PP is that you have very close racing between different drivetrain types - FF can be just as competitive as 4WD or MR. My Acura CL is a regular winner.
