Looking for a song?Music

I know that it sounds weird, but can anyone confirm the existence of a song. It is not done by Chicago, but yet, the instrumentals was taken from 'Saturday in the Park' in a style similar to MC Hammer's 'Can't Touch This' and Rick James 'Super Freak'. The lyrics themselves mention something along the lines of 'Peppermint Park', and it could be the title of the song. Can anyone help?

This may be a tough one...
I dont know any of the lyrics, but the tune drives me crazy!
it's has a bad boy kinda feel to it, and in rather odd sound it goes,
mah nah nah nah nah, mah nah... ect.
it may be some way tweaked guitar but i don't know.
it's kind of buzzy, and my brain classifies it with "Bad to the Bone".
Thanks for the help! I've been looking for this song for years off and on to no avail!

edit: I think its old, pre-80's to my ear

The song is indeed called 'Bad to the Bone' and it is done by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. It is the title track to their album released in 1982, and was rereleased in 2007 to mark the 25th anniversary of the album's release. I believed it gained popularity because of one of Pee-Wee Herman's movies, and the album became the band's best selling one.

Is it this, possibly? If not, does it sound similar?

The first song with the wind instrument, what is it?

Where it shows the aircraft taking off...

Is there seriously no one?

I had a look and couldn't find anything. It's an unusual piece of music, given that it's different to the rest of the film's soundtrack, which is mainly Michael Nyman. I don't recall hearing it in the film, although it was a while since I saw it. However, I do think it's maybe just a random piece of music stuck onto the trailer with no credit in the soundtrack, so you may have great difficulty in tracking it down.

What's the name and artist of the song, my phone won't play your link for some reason. and to answer some questions, it's not bad to the bone, I have that one;
and my I remembered some lyrics, it definitely says: I believe in Jesus (surprised me too, I never heard the words till yesterday)
and the chorus went somthing like "going to that xxxxxxx in the sky"
thanks again, and when I eventually find it I'll post a link here!

Jesus Just Left Chicago by ZZ Top

Edit: Yeah that video I put up wouldn't allow embedding. Sorry.

I was watching a movie called "The Great Outdoors 2"
it's a motocross movie and there is a song near the the end that has the lyrics "kings and queens are crowned" in a kind of slow beat. Everything that I've searched comes up 30 seconds to mars.

I tried "Jesus just left chicago" by ZZ TOP, but that was another bust.
thanks for trying guys, I'll find it and let you know eventually.

There is a song that is kind of a hip hop type deal and it sounds like the lyrics are, "tommy, tommy, tommy, tommy, tommy won't you ____ _____ _____" And on each of the Tommys it goes a little bit higher pitch/
Anybody know what it is?

It sounds like another dirty Miley Cyrus song.

Got another one:

Can't describe the tune, but one bit I remember is:
"...on harbor day!" unless it's arbor.

I hear it once in awhile on our local rock station (KFMA), but can't find it on google or iTunes.

I think you mean "..on Holiday". If I am right, I suggest you listen to this...

Something I heard on the radio.
It was a rock song that was forgettable and at the first line sounded like he said "the words/writings coming off the page".
He was also talking about an institution.

hi I am looking for a progressive/tech house instrumental tune used on Sky Sports coverage of the darts

In a previous post in this thread someone asked for the tune played BEFORE ad breaks and that is 'Chase The Sun' Planet Funk (instrumental non vocal version)

I am not looking for that one, I am looking for the tune they almost always play AFTER ad breaks, and when the graphics featuring a dartboard are on screen showing scores and results of the day and what matches are coming up

I also heard this tune in a bar yesterday on the digital jukebox but was unable to id the track on the video screen as it ended just as I had walked into the bar

the Premier League darts is currently on now until May on Thursdays on Sky Sports in the UK and I would imagine quite a few other countries carry the Sky Sports coverage on sports channels as well so anyone who knows the tune please let me know

thanks

Im looking for a hard rock song that in the chorus the lead singer sings;

"Bring it on, bring it on
You know I can take it
Im not going down
Bring it on, Bring it on"

If you know the song, please tell me as I have been looking for this song for a long time (4 years)! :)

What is the name of this song?

Edit: It's Scotland the Brave, plus something else. What is the "something else"? Listen to the man at the beginning.

Ok this one should be easy for somebody to find for me.
"We're bringing it up, just to tear/bring/burn it back down.
Cannot find it anywhere, but it is a popular song playing on the radio.
Edit: Nevermind it's this.
It is on my MP3 player and it gets played every day. How did I not know what it was called?:boggled:
