It sounds like a different mix of the second song on the Beatport link I added, 'Yani'... given that the album is not out yet and your video is of a test pressing of the album, I'd be very surprised if you could find it before it was officially released.

I'm not sure, it appears the album was released because it was already rated. It also appears those two tracks were the only ones on the album. Stumped about this one. I guess I'll wait and see if more tracks come out.

I'm looking for a song from the late 90s, it had a fairly popular DnB remix, and the video consists of a very creepy looking girl with an oversized fabric head. She's in a room with lots of glowing cables. I can't quite remember the name.

You found this?

Nope. Still in need. :c
Ah right, it sounds like a very Chris Cunningham video.

The only 2 DnB artists he's worked with are Aphex Twin and Autechre, but I doubt that's it.

It's not Cunningham level, it's more like late 90s mild acid trip thing.

I re-read your post and realised I was barking up the wrong tree. Now I'm gonna beat around a new bush to find this one.

You got any more info, a genre maybe? Just anything you remember.

All I can remember is slightly trance-y, DnB remix was quite popular, and it was about 1997/1998.

That is an original song.
I'm not sure if I understand, The song at the end was original, While the intro song was Roman's/RCR's cover of Everybody Wants To Rule The World - Tears For Fears with original lyrics?

I'm looking for a song used in a public television promo featuring clips from shows such as Nova and Nature--sadly I haven't been able to find the promo online either--with lyrics as follows. They're in no particular order, just as they stand out in my head, so I don't dare try to place appropriate punctuation. It sounds like it could be *shudder* Celine Dion, and @Neddo might be of assistance.

in a heartbeat I would run to you

like a vision when you came to me

light up the sky*

we can burn so brightly

*This bit is emphasized as if part of the chorus, but searches have yielded nothing.

(Edit: I should say it's awful, but I hear it on TV and then my brain loops it for the next few hours because it can't be completed.)

Searching for the lyrics you quoted led to this.

Would that be it?

Could someone help me identify the house songs throughout this video? I already know the heavy bass song used during fast forwards, but I can't seem to find any of the others by using Soundhound on my phone. Maybe the background noise is interfering.

I can't get the video to stop auto playing, so you'll need to rewind to the beginning.

@TexRex -- A trick I learned a long time ago...When you're positive of a certain verse or string of words in a song, just go to Google and type in: in a heartbeat I would run to you lyrics -- notice I added the word lyrics at the end of that verse you were searching for. I have always found the full lyrics to any song I've searched for and the search results of the full lyrics always also show the artist name and song title.

I hope that helps, in case you're ever searching for a song in the future.

I'm generally pretty reasonable when it comes to finding songs by way of a few lyrics I know, but, for whatever reason, this one escaped me. Thanks for the insight, though.
