looking for in-game SHO pictures

I think the NASCAR SHO could only be found in early copies of GT2. Anyways, I don't have any pix of it, but maybe someone else does.

Yeah, in the earlier verisons of the game. The newer verisons have a different modification.

No man, to get the NASCAR Taurus (Mark Martin) you have to race mod the Taurus SHO.

My guess is that Mark Martin or his team weren't getting the money they were promised from Sony for letting them use their version of the SHO Taurus; hence it was dropped from later versions of GT2. That's just my guess tho. I'd do a search on it but I've been up all weekend..

Yes, it looks similar to that. The front section is grey instead of white, I think... but I may be wrong. Still, the SHO Taurus is nothing to get excited about...
It's an ugly, underpowered FF...

That is actually ture, isn't it a FR. They could have at least gave it 750+ HP like a real NASCAR car.

oh cmon......its a good car to drive and tune. well atleast IMO anyways, then again i love all cars besides k-car shts. The nascar body is like that one, except it is a 96-99 gen taurus so it has the oval lights and RX7ish rear. To me, that gen looked the BEST. STupid ford had to change the design to camry looking god dammit.

IMHO that design screamed: "LOOKAT ME!! I'M UGLYYY!!!".

No, they did not change the drive-train when you did race-mod, so it stayed FF, and it only had around 400bhp or so.

it's has the same drivetrain as the stock model in the game fully tuned, if you set it up right it is a little rocket. It has 537 HP I think. It's got a drag body so I have mine set up like a drag racer.

In the game it's FF just like in real life the car in NASCAR the cars only share the body and nothing else.

Yup, all the cars in NASCAR races have to be FR. The engine specs are strictly regulated, too; in fact, most of the parts in NASCAR vehicles aren't even made by their original manufacturer. When you see a Dodge Intrepid in a Winston Cup series, it's mostly not even built by Dodge! That's why I can't get very excited by a NASCAR race..I'd rather watch an SCCA event that hosts cars built by their actual carmakers.

This has probly been mentioned before, but the only way to get around this in the game is to use a gameshark. I suppose you could take a Taurus and put a Mustang drivetrain under it or something.
