My question is; if I have to get a new PS3, will I lose all my Save Data?
More specifically my GT5 and Black Ops 2 save data (If I use my games on the new PS3)?

(My PS3 was lost today :()

Pretty sure that this is a yes. Don't hold me to it, my fat model isn't dead yet.

EDIT - PlayStation Plus members, if I recall right, can have their savedata backed up.

Yup, all your save data is gone. Sorry. :(

That said, if your old PS3 turns up in the future, you can use an ethernet cable to transfer all your data to the new one.

That's just great!

Here's a related question; if for eg I saved a Replay (A), then backed up my data.
If I reloaded that data would I still have the replay or do they get saved in a different manner?

When you say you PS3 is lost do you like stolen or broken? If its just broken you could try some guides online to try get it started up then do a data transfer E28 said onto the new one. The data transfer works very well it copies everything even copy protected saves.

I mean it's "lost" all hope of ever working again in it's life
IF I get it to show up on my TV, all I see are some messed up colours and a crashed screen.

Theres something majorly wrong with HD*

*I know nothing about PS3s or any other technology; so I'm just summarising the problem by saying the 'Hard Drive' is broken :P
In general the PS3 has a major internal problem.

I had a lot of colored "snow" or noise that happened and it turned out to be a bad HDMI cable.

We tried that, but it was evident that there's was a problem with another piece of hardware.

1. The thing didn't register on Scart
2. The fan rarely worked
3. When it did show up, you would get a frozen screen with masses of green distortion.
