LSD - how do you set them?

If this is already somewhere in the tuning forum, I apologise, but what I'm after is a how and why for LSD tuning. I've played around a bit during the Expert Seasonals, but I didn't really understand what the different elements actually interact. Specifically, I'm looking to make RWD cars less understeery, but an overall view would be good.

Ta,

Ta,

The LSD settings is probably the most discussed tuning option and there is no definite rule how to do it! It's more how your driving style is and what feels right for you! There are a lot of threads about it! The most discussed ones can be found here: The Ultimate GT5 Link Collection for Tuning

Low, between 10-20 for accel and initial if low to no tcs is used. Decel 30-50 given your brake bias. There's alot of other variables that need to be considered before limited slip.

Woah. Those are some very interesting settings IMO. I've never run a decel much past 30, and actually tend to run it as low as 5 on most of my cars.

Give it a whirl I'm sure Ull be happy man, too much decel will lock the rear wheels creating ovsteer and less exit speed.

Exactly, but why do you say this? Isn't it to your own disadvantage?

Not at all I'm trying to help this Guy with a fast tune. Nothing in my tunes equal a disadvantage.

Less exit speed is a disadvantage.

Also, I'm not exactly looking for help with a "fast tune". I'm already quite good at that, I just find certain things curious... Your diff settings seem to be the opposite of what I go for to get a "fast" setup.

That's great that you want to help 👍
....But what's with this?

It looks a bit strange for me, you know. I'm wondering why you said that. Did you mean: "too little decel"? Cause 30-50 is pretty high. Just curious....
