so i been playin around with settings and ive looked all over the boards for something that would give me a clear idea of what i should do for whatever kind of car i decide i want to drift with. i have recently been stumped though.

im trying to setup an AWD drifter and my understeer is horrible! it has to be something about the LSD tho. the fact that it is AWD makes it so complicated to me. i was hoping that some tuners could help me out here. i mean...if it isnt the LSD...what else could it be?!

ive done...

-10/90 on the variable center diff
-all aids off
-LSD from stock to the 5/5/5 on front and large numbers for the rear
-negative toe on front/positive toe on back
-springrates from 4.0's to 11.0's
-as many diff brake balances as you can imagine

maybe i missed something in my trial and error but i doubt it. any thoughts would be useful so i can test some theories.

what i have been doing with my awd drifters is equipping normal road wheels on the fronts and luxuries at the rear, if that isn't loose enough for u try even the economies. Then with the variable centre diff, change that to 10, so 90% of ur power is going to the rear wheels. then turn ur lsd..what i have been doing is at the front run 5,5,5 and 60,60,60 at the rear. The suspension hasn't really had an impact on my drifting so you just tune that the way u want. The only thing i really do with the suspension is drop it on its tits and give it some negative toe on the rear and there u have it. Give it a shot...just make sure u have assists off, maybe just have asm understeer on 1...i think its understeer..its the next one up from TCS anyways. So give it a shot, thats how i like my awd drifters but hey im still a bit of a noob myself.
