1-Lumina SS coupe with a V8 engine 350hp 5.7litres

2-Lumina S coupe with a v6 engine 3.8litres

they placed the holden logo with a chevy golden logo, when u c the car from the fron u can c the circled place which the holden logo was but placed with a chevy logo now lol

actually there is no more Lumina S coupe because there is no more CV6 Monaro which is wat the Lumina coupe is based on. The chevy luminas are also just for the middle east.

The Lumina they get in the middle east is complete different to wat you guys get in the USA. There Lumina is actually a Aussie produced car called the Holden Commodore/Monaro.

one of these

ah ok gotcha, but thats what we got up above...what a craptastic car.

yeah it looks pretty crappy, doesnt compete with a commodore at all. Also the Monaro/Lumina SS is the same as the new pontica gto. Except with the new front.

Lumina Z34s aren't crappy for what they are, a DOHC V6 FWD sporty coupe.

Hmm, even in that category they were crap compared to the Taurus SHO and Spirit R/T with which they competed. Both those cars were faster, handled better, and looked a lot nicer to boot. Plus both of them are still around with large enthusiast groups, while the Z34 is a rusty, poorly running, pos you see being driven by punk kids who think it's sporty and got there parents to buy the heep for them. I've not seen a single time for a Z34 brake into the 15's, other than some original magazine times, which were with brand new cars provided by the manufacturer back in the day. On the other hand, plenty of 150K+ '89 SHO's are running around dipping into the low 15's or better stock. ;)

SHOs are 4 doors.

Spirit R/Ts are a turbo 4.

Personally, if I were going to buy a 3.4L engined W body i'd probably look at a Cutlass Supreme, since they're more luxurious.

Point? Those were the cars that the Lumina was designed to compete with back in about '90. The SHO started thigns with it's state of the art 3.0L DOHC 7500rpm Yamaha V6, and Chrysler quickly responded with a 2.2L Turbo III with 220+hp. GM game out with the 3.4L Lumina Z34...and promptly got handled. The projenitor of the genre was the only servivor, even if it did loose it's dominance after the '95. The '96-'99 V8 cars are still good for a 14.9 stock, good handling, and a plush interior. Only problem was the loss of a Manual Tranny option.

As far as i'm concerned, yeah, the yamaha V6 has more power, but I personally like the Z34 better until I test drive both of them.

To each his own. I can't agree with your styling taste, but oh well.
